Sad news if Microsoft will stop Skype on Symbian. There are many many many Symbian devices still out there. What they need to do is bind the customers by give them a working Skype app on Symbian so they might buy a WP device later.

So don't buy it for Skype unless your friends have Fring or Nimbuzz. Skype still works for me but it will stop any day.

It's a one of a kind phone. This phone has a single core 680Mhz processor and just 256 MB RAM which is by today's standard outdated but due to the resource efficiency of Symbian OS, this phone with just a single core 680 Mhz processor and 256 MB of RAM runs Asphalt 6 smooth without any hiccups, and this results in better battery backup. You are brainwashed by the stupid specs race that Android started. Having used three Android phones in two years, there wasn't a single phone that was lag free and offered as much flexibility as my Nokia N8. You would only understand the power of this phone when you hold it in your hands! Can you think of any Android phone having that much RAM and processor that can run Asphalt 6 smoothly?

Get the handset checked for any defects at Nokia care near you. If there are no defects or minor defects which won't affect the user experience then buy it.

hamza nimo, 21 Aug 2014I think n8 is the best in all nokia phones and even have beter features than many of the lates... moreHi Brother, i really appreciate your love for N8, but its almost a 4 years old phone & Nokia has stopped supporting N8, so it wont receive any updates or improvements. & all the new & popular apps are never going to come on N8 & the apps which are present, are losing their compatibility e.g skype. I agree that the camera clarity is awesome, but buying a phone only on the basis of camera is not an appropriate decision. Nowadays many phones offer the similar functionalities of N8 i.e HDMI & USB ON-THE-GO. So, i request u to again think upon ur decision of getting this phone just now.

common issue for this phone. Phone
starts accumulating junk files when
internet is accessed. To overcome this
issue, u should first hack ur phone by
Nortan & then install mobile cleaner app, available in n8Fanclub. It Will help
keep your phone memory as free as

Need help
I m using n8 for last 3 years and updated to belle refresh. Now my problem is that there is no data in my my phone memory everything is saved in mass memory than also my phone memory is getting lower and lower and its almost reaching to zero bites some time and I cudnt able to open normal application and I had format it but didn't success. few days its show 35mb but however after one week of use phone memory is getting down . what is the solution

For me, this is still one of the best designs from Nokia, especially when compared to these new models like Lumia and Asha.
