hi guys..just bought my n8..then upgraded it to symbian anna..then after 2 week..im surprised that my n8 became slower..i mean (the loading of the images,menu,apps etc..)..how can i solve this problem??can anyone help me about this...tyvm..

I bought this phone so eagerly because I was attracted by it's design and collie especially blue. I made so high expectation but it has a lot of problems.
When my inbox reaches around 2000 messages, it started to be very slow namely it lag very seriously!!!!!! so what I can do is to clean up my inbox and sent messages regularly that the messages won't exceed 1000.
However, I think that the camera function is the mist I like.
I had sent my phone to be repaired many times but it doesn't really solve my problem. Now, I don't know why suddenly I can't open music player, photos, video. I am verv frustrated with my phone. My battery drains very fast although I am not opening any apps. Anyone has any solutions? I think I'm gonna change my phone. SIGH.

I incidentally click the X on the menu. now I can't find it anymore. Please help me on how to revive it and use it as Home screen menu.

I have had mine for a year now and never had a fault with it. It has crashed once or twice so i turned it off and on again and it is fine.
I abuse this phone as i am an electrician and need to see inside walls and ceilings, i just make a slot and put the phone in the slot and take pictures of the inside of the wall. The camera takes quality pix that i can zoom in to scan for rodent damage, dodgey junctions etc.
Video camera is good in light conditions but not in dull lighting.
Satnav is very useful but does drain the battery a bit.
I'm amazed the screen still has no scratches even with the abuse i give it.

I recently updated my nokia n8 to symbian anna..i found that my fone could not play divx and xvid formats in symbian anna :(..is everyone facing the same problem with anna update or it was only me?

Firs of all there is no antivirus installed, may be the hardware problem. I will send it to the service but I wait for a right warrenty. Nokia wrote the wrong IMEI on the warranty...no comment again

Symbian chrush down eve... moreWell i don't have N8 yet. but In our case i think you have commit any mistake when you were updating the mobile software. take it to any nokia service center and install the original version of software. Just check it. its my personal opinion..

I'm looking for a phone that's built to last, but on a budget, and I think N8 is the perfect choice. The aluminum body, camera and audio quality are all i need. But the problem is I'm a heavy texter, and the lack of qwerty and news of this phone's sucky text input are the only things keeping me from parting with my E72 (and pcketability). What do you guys think? Is it worth it?
