The bad, screen quality is poor, picture and videos look horrible both those transferred to the phone an taken with the device, low res. display only 210 ppi and a sucky ui which makes it worse it's so bad u might need a stylus in many apps and programs. 12 megapixel camera doesnt show as the low res. screen, low ppi and screen and image quality actually counteracts that. The good is the built quality and music player as well as the memory capacity. To be honestly th8e nokia n80 was a better phone to me r even the htc touch pro which both had higher ppi screens and image quality. Better buys would be th iPhone 4 or the samsung galaxy s the original.

People, don't do this, it is better to keep pr1.2 than void the warranty.

AnonD-9238, 11 Sep 2011Stll no Anna update available in the USA. Even after almost 1 moth now... Nokia is not a rel... moreI am here in Vietnam. I got update Anna for my N8 in late August then my phone became unstable. I have send to the Nokia Care center!

Symbian Belle sucks, the virtual keyboard is too small, type in this is a torture, i´ll stay in ver 14.03, y hava to make downgrade with scandinavian firmware

hey guys,,,,i recently brought my new n8,,and before using this devise for the first time i had a lot off initial fear...one was about the typing..then about the OS as a hole as well..now most of these fears is gone.,,,my n8 came with the latest update off Symbian Anna,,,,,there are a lot off improvements to it.....which can be taken advantage off rather than Symbian s3....now the first improvement is that it brings a new inbuilt portrait qwerty key pad.....then the browser for the n8 has been improved,, finally we can say it as a better alternative for android,,,and other OS s..as well....then n8 is always known as the best camera smartphone in the world....today....the above update has brought a new improvement to that as well......the n8 usually recorded video s in high definition,,,at 720 p and 25 frames per second,,now it has been improved to 30 frames per second.granting a better color representation in recording videos ans well as taking images....and the total interface has been improved with better wallpapers and themes....and icons has been brought a great improvement ......it resembles the icons in android and i OS,,,,,this aspect was a good improvement from s3......which had a standard type fixed icons.....now this user interface as a hole brings 3 personalized home screens...and giving it a better feel which a user gets on android..these are some amoung the improvements brought in the n8,,,......now i am eagerly waiting for updating it to symbian belle......which offers more improvements...hopefully....thank u for reading

Exit the mail box and try once again, if its the same, then restart and delete the email box.
if you restart, go to office >> mail and then delete

Guys from USA, and anyone having a problem to update the n8 to anna OS, you can do it manually.. and to do this have a look at this link below.. follow the instructions and manually update your n8.

hey guys i just bought a n8..
i sync it to the mail exchange,but nw i want to that account from my cell.....on deleting it it shows "DELETING MAILBOX"and nothing happens for long.
the account is not deleted and m nt able to delete this.

hii guys, i have been using the leaked version of the latest hacked symbian belle fifmware on my n8..and believe me it's awsome.. It's beautiful, stylish and fast.. I'm loving my n8 more now.. The RAM management is much improved now.. After opening 4 windows in the browser i am getting more than 100 MB of free RAM on my N8.. My N8 is rocking now.. I will use this firmware until nokia releases the official Belle firmware for n8..

Stll no Anna update available in the USA.
Even after almost 1 moth now...
Nokia is not a reliable company any more. :(
