Nope u cant get certifcate from any where anymore ?????
why dont ask because no one know.
What i presume is for promoting widows and meego.
The solution is only flahsing.
Just go for it and enjoy the real essence of nokia N8.

My assumption is that the update provides certain bug fixes to those regional variants only, such as language support and such like. I don't know if it will be made available globally.

I already have my own cert and key so I'm unable to test whether that site you linked to will work or not. It is worth trying though for anyone who wants a cert and key, and if it does work for you remember to give angellite a thanks for providing the link.

Firmware version 24.1 is for a limited number of regional variant N8's. The update is for the Middle east, the Netherlands and Thailand only.
If your phone isn't from one of those countries then the update to 24.1 isn't for you.

If you are unable to get your own certificate from http://www.shoujizu.net/en/cer.php then it looks like Nokia have closed the door completely. I know of no other place where you can get a certificate from.
If you are truly desperate to have the ability to install unsigned SIS files then you can hack your phones firmware instead. This will allow you to install SIS files without the need for a certificate but carries a high risk of damaging your phone if your not careful.
