The WORST Nokia fone,i have ever used till date.N8 hangs unnecessarly.i have to time n again switch on n off the fone to make it work.waste of Rs 23,000 & time.

Symbian ANNA update is now available through Nokia Software Updater. New FIRMWARE version 022.014 available now on NAVIFIRM and on the Software Updater.

First, my Ovi Maps is the latest and there only was an update of one of the maps I had installed,. It got deleted for no reason and YES it is stupid that it tells u to use wifi!!!! I don't like wifi and I use 3G unlimited and there are no extra costs!!!u don't know s h it.
the phone is full of bugs and everyone will notice it from the first day and istead of being dumb like u, we can hope that ANNA will fix all these bugs...

It asked ... moreu are so dam stupid kid! first it was an update of a map not the whole program just a map u retard! Second, it my existing maps got deleted and i use them everyday and they worked fine it's just there are updates for the maps that u use offline. And yes that message is stupid because i don't li,e wifi and i hav 3g unlimited and doesn't matter wat i download i dont get extra cost because my service is unlimited u dumie.

hello, 18 Aug 2011Like all Symbian phones, Nokia N8 also does some stupid things... One of many happened today.... moreIts not a stupid thing. First of all you dont know anything about nokia and symbian. It asked you to connect to wifi just to cut the high amount of data transfer cost. And secondly maps that you have in your phone for old version of ovi maps aren't compatible with new version. And the phone itself warns you before deleting anything...Simple as that...!

Like all Symbian phones, Nokia N8 also does some stupid things...
One of many happened today...
I opened Maps to see if there was any updates...
There was an update and i clicked Download, but gave me this stupid message that I have to define wifi access and connect to it. I thought, OK, I will switch WiFi on, (even though I use high speed 3G). But all of the sudden I see that all my maps that I had for offline use were disappeared. The download was not even started! it just gave me a message... For no reason it deletes my Maps that are used in offline mode.
I hope Symbian Anna fixes all these errors and bugs, because this phone is suffering very much! In almost every aspect this phone is affected by bugs and errors! Everything like (crashing internet, music player corrupted folders, freezing, lagging, creating and deleting some stuff by itself, I mean there's so many and I just hope they will fix these)
Of course, you won't notice these if you use this phone for only camera and simple usage, but if you demand professional results N8 fails very badly!!!!!
I love N8 very much, but truth has to be said...

Anonymous, 17 Aug 2011no OTA update yet for symbian anna n i guess it wil take a month n may b symbian belle wil b a... moreYou'll be surprised. Once all P.Codes are loaded on the servers I reckon Nokia will switch on the update service and everyone will be on Anna in a few days or so.
I wouldn't get too excited about Belle. Nokia aren't treating it as official so it may never get released officially.
