Hey Guys.. I had been 2 Nokia Store to get a pouch for my N8, saw the X7 with Anna, after so much a waiting time, leaked news, pics etc.. the icons and interface does not look charming, may be the next belle looks good(leaked videos & pics).
As everyone know, my n8 also has purple tint issue, but after reading many comments & articles, some have mentioned that its a hardware issue & some its a software issue, but really not sure whats the issue. Some mentioned after the software update issue got resolved, some mentioned only screen replacement resolved and visa versa both option did not help the N8 users.
I also read that Nokia is aware of the issue with N8, so my guess is that, with Anna the issue might get resolved, that could be reason y nokia is not recalling the devices for services or replacements.. its just my guess, because there are hell lots of forums with the same issue & do u think Nokia would not have noticed it....
Hoping issue would be resolved and nokia would not screw up things little more ;)

Only thing that this devices own now is its camera that no one beat it, other than that is just some sluggish UI, a little like lag, i hate the slowness while opening the application manager.. it act damn annoying and slow as it load the application even the application is less.. Sold it last month and got a Samsung G2x, a huge different in every aspect other than cameras...

But the problem is when we go to application manager to uninstall, I cannot find OVI Maps, next I find Social but it shows a lock Icon next to that and when try to uninstall it says Removing canceling.
So wanted to know any alternate method

To uninstall apps, including maps and social goto settings > Application manager > installed apps. Now scroll to the app you want to remove and long press on the app until a pop up appears and choose uninstall.

Just Sold my N8.....got tired of its sluggish UI...The only thing I regret about losing it is the Camera....Gonna get HTC Sensation next week..
