Ray Hipkiss, 07 Aug 2011@ JuveTube777 I don't mean to be rude, but I've got no interest in doing that test because... moremy battery last longer than android, I did a test and my n8 came out on top (really heavy use it last a two day) android using the same heavy usage (huawia lasted only half a day)
Ray Hipkiss, 07 Aug 2011@ JuveTube777 If anything, the battery on my N8 has actually improved with age and I suspe... moremy nokia n8 battery has improved alot from lasting a day of heavy use to two day of really heavy use, which is really really AWSOME for a smartphone, android batteries dont last that long......
AnonD-9238, 07 Aug 2011I have tested other phones too. This is very strange but on the N8 it seems that only standby ... moresure the battery will weaken in due time, but that s not a problem after all 10percent is not that much, also my phone is 9months old and i dont see sign of battery weakening.

I don't mean to be rude, but I've got no interest in doing that test because... moreI have tested other phones too. This is very strange but on the N8 it seems that only standby is affected. New ones lasted up to 18 days and used ones lasted 15 to 16 days. Music, Internet, Video and etc. Seem fine... E7, C6-01, C7 didn't seem to do that.
Now, you can care about this or not, I just shared what I know is true... and I also said that this won't get worse so when you say some people might tnink the battery is faulty they can read this that it's not faulty it's just like that.
By the way I would never be spamming because I love N8 and I will be using it a long time...
I dont know why people hate nokia and its OS so much.....its way good compared to Samsung and other brands...it has good battery back up,few apps but all are usefull, the ui in symbian is bettr than android(according to my experience),and when it comes to low cpu symbian doesnt need much, heard ppl saying the SGS2 lags with dualcore then wats the prob when nokia phones lag a bit....For me Nokia is the best and will be the best...for producing quality products

I don't mean to be rude, but I've got no interest in doing that test because there are no issues with the battery on my N8.
You said yourself it's nothing to worry about and doesn't affect the phones performance so why did you post it in the first place?
Some people reading that will think their batteries are faulty and start complaining to Nokia about it.
You will find also that all Li-ion batteries behave exactly the same, so it's no good just picking on Nokia batteries. Do your "Test" on other phones and see what results you get.

Ok, the battery will never improve, maube you tnink that because you might not be usinb the phone as much as the first month of having it.
Now, I also said that it's nothing wrong about this and I'll say that it won't affect the performance... But we are sure that the standby of the phone battery get a bit weaker average 10%.
Do the test for yourself and you'll be surprised. We're not some little boys who play, we own a big online smartphone store and have access with many phones.
If you too have access to a new N8, than get it, fully charge it and charge yours too and just put them and see which one drains a tiny bit faster, at least 5%.

If anything, the battery on my N8 has actually improved with age and I suspect that is true for most other peoples N8's.
I would expect the battery to weaken after two to three YEARS, but not months.
All the best.

Hey guys... I'm gonna tell you an important secret about Nokia N8 that Nokia won't eve mation...
I have contact with official Nokia employees and many other smartphone experts and we test many phones.
On N8 we discovered that after using for 2 or 3 months the battery gets 10 to 25% weaker for no reason... (We used couple N8 phones with normal usage and charged them from low to maximum all the times, so means we took care of the batteries) but the good news is that it won't get worse.... It will remain like that. we have done multiple tests and I'm sure we are 100% accurate...
It's not a big deal but it happens trust me...
