AnonD-2665, 13 Aug 2011sometimes when i type for a message or chat ,the pressed letters doesnt appear on the screen,b... moreyeah,sometimes it happens to me too..strangely,if i use qwerty keypad,everything works fine,but im kinda slow using qwerty due to cramped letters..im gona stick with my n8 for awhile i think,n9 seems amazing though..

Does anyone know if the anna update will improve the smoothness in games and apps? will it run apps faster and smoother?

239, 13 Aug 2011is it true?cause i've checked the RAM using Swiss Manager Pro,it indicates i still have around... moresometimes when i type for a message or chat ,the pressed letters doesnt appear on the screen,but i keep typing and then all of it appears suddenly on the screen after few seconds ! It happens due to low ram i think ! Use explore ! Anyway i will sell my n8 for the new n9 !

The longer you type, the more RAM is be... moreis it true?cause i've checked the RAM using Swiss Manager Pro,it indicates i still have around 50-65 Ram available..and for the record im using SPB mobile shell with customized android skin,but when i close the apps,still laggy when i type..any other solution? Im planning to hard reset my phone,but i'll have to make backup etc etc,which is tiring..

recently i have been thinking to upgrade to a new phone from my nokia e5 and i have been thinking about n8 but when i read they are not going to ship it anymore to UK and USA i thought that they wont sell it world wide ( i am in the middle east ) so i wanna ask you is it worth to buy the n8 and its has been out for a year and can you tell me some gud other nokia and other brand phone to put in mind and pls dont forget to tell me your experience with the nokia n8

This sounds like you are running low on RAM. The longer you type, the more RAM is being used.

AnonD-17489, 12 Aug 2011I don't want green n8 i want black , change it , how should i change it , green looks UGLY ! You could ask at your local Nokia care point, but they will charge you a hefty sum, if that is they agree to do it in the first place.
If you did manage to source a replacement case and attempt to do it yourself you would lose your warranty the second you started taking yours apart, so not worth doing.

Anyone got the blue version in uk?? If anyone has can you tell me if you got it fron your operator or uk supplier..
Anna is due immenently and will be rolled out bit by bit as uaual,,Nokia are making sure its up to scratch but Belle is a while away..These smartfones are so complex and multi-tasking almost cause exponential bugs that interfere with one another..I reckon Nokia are trying to free up some more GPU memory for the broadcom 2727 chip..
