Hi Guys,
Finally I got my N8 after reading many reviews of yours here.. I have seen mostly bad, but also good. But what I noticed mostly is, when it comes to good, the details are very few. Anyways what I feel is, every brand of mobile will have something or the other defect or less features... I dont wanna talk much abt other, let me start of with mine..
I got it 2 days aga and when I saw the display in the night, I found the purple colour issue on the sceen, next dat went back to the store, asked for replacment, but found same prb in other 2 models. The sales person asked me if I wanna take any other brand, I just loved N8, so bought it back, hoping one day Nokia would definetly rectify the issuue...
I had intalled games from N8Fanclub and they are just wonderful...
The most amazing part is, I connected the mouse & then tried connecting keyboard to the mobile, it just worked perfectly..
The way people mentioned in the opinions, the mobile swipe is good enought(I expected it to be very slow)
Camera, I could not experment much because the cover is still On
Msging is good, no issue.. jst abt to install swipe application
mobile hanging during wifi connection.. no such isssues..
Hardware .. Dam good..
USB on go is just amazing and very useful..
I still guess, I missed out few things to mentione.. please reply back if anymore updates @ gmartinar777@gmail.com

Wastage of money,Hanging Problem,camera not look as 12mp,hangs after 2 app opens,dull screen as compare to sony xperia play and arc i wish to throw it fed up of it

Just notice it people that is the only time it hangs. Some of you say no mine doesn't have that, that's because you haven't used it over the wi fi especially ones that lose signal in the process of using apps like Ovi store...

remove protective transparent film pasted over camera
and your blur will be gone 4 ever.......

Manish, 10 Aug 2011Dude go blindly for samsung galaxy S2 care to haul uaself to a Galaxy S wall and leave us alone please, the N8 is a wnderful solid phone,even the new x7 with a biggr screen doesnt come close, and in battery compparison, Symbian is way much better than droid smart phones, still droids have to plug the security issue and virus vulnarability a problem never faced by Symbian

My N8 doesn't have any hanging problems, so the answer is no, not all N8's have the hanging problem.
If you visit a lot of forums you will read post after post of problems with the N8, but you shouldn't take that to mean that all N8's are having problems because that what forums are for. To ask for help with a problem. Same goes for a hospital. The place is full of sick people but that doesn't mean the entire human race is sick and dying.

i think u haven't removed the plastic cover that is protecting the camera screen
remove that
and try taking picture

AnonD-8058, 09 Aug 2011this is not ur logs....this is only the 15 last recieved, dialled and misscalls u have...to ge... morethank you for your reply,but there is no log in tools.In tools phone setup,ovi sync,fm transmit and my nokia only.

Nothing to compare.To my opinion, if your gadget fulfils all your requirements, thats best for you.For me til date there is no parallel device considering the utilty of my excellent n8.To me,n8 is simply the boss.Cheers

SOo we like to brag about N8 camera-e MP, the detail and clarity. But there's something else about it I find very amazing but does not get much airtime. The digital zoom when recording video is amazing. It does so without distorting the image. Think about it: hd video is only a few pixels so you only us us part of the 12Mp image sensor. This gives you room to zoom before you need to mess with the actual 720p. Great work Nokia engineers! These are some of the things we ted to forget because there are so many amazing things about the N8

This phone got more ability than most of yet to be made cells.
Owned it for 7 months now. I think 2years with it won't be felt.
One problem though. You won't take yo hands off.

its the only in a niteclub than can recrd video and here undistorted sound and get xenon fotos which are clear in dim light,,N8 is brilliant.

I say the N8 is thest camphone ever made and when we look back over the years at memories we will be glad we took them with an NOKIA N8.
