Its a great phone but not for AT&T customer in NYC. Dropped calls and can never sync your emails, delayed sms, basically phones does not work. Also, the sync featuer of N8 is not good. You have to switch off and on for sync to work. I like th phone for the 12 MP camera and HD video. As a phone its not as great.

farukh, 04 Aug 2011 nice phone ive ever used nthng stands in comparison nto n 8 you can freely download any paid for apps for free but only a limited number of times. I think the Max number is 3.

better uchoose nokia N8 because is more funtion better than samsung....im the galaxy user.....not much funtion....no 3G so bored......

What flash are you referring to? The Xenon flash for the camera or Adobe Flash player?
If it's flash player then the N8 only supports flash lite 4 not full Flash 10.x.
If you're asking about the camera flash you just need to turn it on in the camera settings. If it's set to auto it will only activate in low light conditions.

Hana, 04 Aug 2011I want 2 buy a new cell phone so I'm confused between N8 and Galaxy S II , which one is better??????N8 is better though older, it is only less powerful than sgs 2 but features-wise is much better and battery backup is 4x more
But sgs 2 has many more apps...
