one of my freind offered me to buy his europe model of N8
my questions :
1- is Europe model use same application like ovi store and all the original aplication in n8 at NCC ?

it's safe to do hard reset to n8..and if we make a hard reset, how to install the applction like ovi store and all the original aplction in n8...can we do it own or have to go to NCC to instll it...can ray or somebody tell me...please....

The only reason why Android is number 1 in smartphone marketshare is because every manufacturer who can't make their own OS and their dog uses it. The Android Market have a lot of apps but those apps are not cometely compatible with every Android device out there. It's very fragmented. Some are made specifically for a certain model and would not work on any other device. The apps are of low quality and app piracy is rampant in Android.
Android is the most overhyped thing ever to hit the tech world and every anti- Apple geek on the net praises it more than it's worth. It's the Windows Vista of smartphones. You need powerful hardware to make it run semi- decent.
I really can't wait for Nokia to release their WP devices and lay the smackdown on these Android OEMs.

mike, 24 Jul 2011still no update of symbian anna or belle here in the philippines.... thumbs down for it.. :-( the symbain anna that is out (to be flashed is only a leaked verstion) the real one should be out at the end of august, so dont worry....

Because Android is crap basically. However, if you desperately want an Android phone there are loads to choose from from other manufacturers.

[deleted post]because nokia is different from other brands ,nokia has his own style of products and that is user friendly and durable for long time .
Other brands like samsung make adevice and u buy that and then they brout a new device to market u also also rushed to buy that because it have some new feature than the previous like galaxy series .
But nokia do that by updates from time to time ,nokia dont wast ur money if u understand, other brands use andriod to get money and u know that andriod has leaks hackers can stole ur personal data so stuck with nokia u will be never dissapoint,,,regards

I would like to buy this phone, when I read the comments here I came to know that Nokia will officially announce N8 with ANNA OS. I just want to clarify If I purchase this model now, Is it possible for me to upgrade the Symbian 3 to ANNA or I need to wait until end of August. pls help me.
