hi friends, has any one brought a new n8 with preloaded anna in bangalore india.I mean , have they started selling n8 with preloaded anna in stores?

Anna will give you more options like settings for connecting to INTRANET etc. You get a full qrty keyboard in the portrait mode. Swype works in portrait mode. The only drawback is that the leaked version does not include OVI suite and there are more camera options that need to be installed for the final release.

You will get a notification by the software that your phone has been updated. To know which software you have on your handset, press *#0000# to check the version.

nic, 18 Jul 2011is it true dat leaked anna removes d purple tint problem. I recon the real one will just do the same, it will be out at the end of august...

Ok, I've had this phone for exactly a month now. I am very happy with it. Amazing the amount of things you can do with it, the only cons are some third-party app crashes but that isn't nokia's fault.
N8 is awesome, I love it.
Guys, 200k more hits and we'll be Top 1 in all time interest! Keep comin'

I've had mine for nine months and haven't experienced anything like you're describing. I also find it difficult to believe that Nokia would send out a phone with a missing screw. Nokia can be accused of many things but poor build quality? No!

iv had this phone since the week it came out. both mine and my husbands crashed at the same time ... happened slowly over about a week. mine they fixed, his they refused due to sending out one with a missing screw so acused us of tampering. mine worked for another few months before dying again slowly over a week to the point its in need of a replacement, husband bort a new one to have his speakers die a month from repurchase.
both phone company and nokia refused to do anything until i went public on fb.... finally getting them replaced but had to buy a new phone in mean time.
if you want a phone thats reliable and not going to crash and need constant repairs this is not the phone for you unfortunately! if it didnt have constant faults it would be an almost perfect phone!

I am not saying it is IMPOSSIBLE... but for a newbie its a pain... :) Cheers !!!
