i had just buyed one bt it is having purple tint issue plz guys help me wat to do iam from nepal.
I think dis is cause of light sensor... Cause in brihht day lite iam nt able to see pirpule tint...
Again Plz guys suggest me wat to do cause i had used my all hard earned money to buy this phone hope u all will undeestand my prblem and guide me anyway thanx in advance...

protip: you dont deserve to use a cellphone. specialy a camera phone or any gadget at all.

It is pretty sad when a once innovative company resorts to copying someone ... moreI do hope you're right. The design is a direct copy of the SGS notification system. I hope they will change it.
Anyway, I'm still hoping that Nokia will skin WP. I believe that they need to do that to set them apart from the rest. The WP tiles are not that appealing and it looks like it have a lot of wasted empty space on the right. Harmattan on WP will be awesome.
I hope Elop can turn things around.

It is pretty sad when a once innovative company resorts to copying someone else's design. Mind you, these are early days yet and Belle might end up looking completely different.

First off then, if you are buying an unbranded SIM free phone you won't experience the lag and slowdown reported by some users who have branded SIM locked phones, so you're already onto a winner.
Despite my previous comments about Symbian being dead, it won't officially be dead until 2016 when the updates finally stop, so until then there will be regular updates.
The touch screen itself is excellent, being very responsive, bright and clear.
The inbuilt default web browser though is pathetic. However, a new browser will arrive with the Anna update in August so in the meantime you can download Opera Mobile from the Ovi store for free and use that instead. Most people have nothing but praise for Opera Mobile including me.
Please bear in mind that the N8 does not have full Flash 10.x support, only flash lite 4 which is compatible with most Flash 10 web sites.
Music quality is OK, quite loud through the device speaker and pretty good through the supplied headset, but be warned that there aren't any user configurable equaliser settings, just a handful of pre-sets. But, you can download for free an app called Tunewiki from the Ovi store which adds a few more pre-sets and a user configurable one to the list of the other default pre-sets.
Lastly then is the battery. By smartphone standards it is quite good. I typically get two to three days from mine under light to moderate use and one to two days under heavy usage such as music and video playback, as well as Satellite navigation and a bit of gaming.
Hope that helps you to decide to buy or not.
