plz help me fiends. im confused wether 2 buy n8 r nt. i am planning 2 buy n8 this week bt aftr reading the comments i m bit confused!will n8 b a good choise? does it have a good touch xprience? howz the net speed, music quality and battery backup? nokia has already declared symbian dead. so shud i opt for n8 or shud i go for some other brand? i m nt into photography tht much. plz help me guys. wht shud i do? help me to decide.plzz

come on man, where did you buy your nokia ? north korea ? mine`s camera is perfect in filming and shooting pics!! the internet is perfect! better than iphone 4!

@ ray yes now buying nokia is foolishness bcoz nokia is not that nokia which was 3 years back ....and next year wp7 from nokia has disappointed a lot .,.fact is that nokia don't want to see people demand and wants from nokia ,they just do what they want and here nokia is only the point by which nokia is going down ,,,,after n8 a lot were expected from nokia and they announced also n9 handset but again sad news they are not supporting meego so whats the point of making phone with such os which they are not supporting for atleast 3 years..so nokia basically now days can't be trusted anymore...its better to switch to other and yes u have taken very right decision of getting rid soon from n8....All the best!!

Hi guys i hv n8 its 12 pixel camera is just same like 2 pixel camera you cant find the difference. And while video Shoot the flash focus does not operate. In twice a day phone automatically shut off n on. Internet speed is just like 3 thousand rupees phone. Battery is good.

I intend to replace both my handsets next year or sooner if I can. The SGS doesn't interest me in the slightest and the N8 will be past it's shelf life by then. Searching the internet for news about Belle tells me that it will mostly be a cosmetic change to Symbian, and resemble the look and feel of Android.
Now, as I'm trying to stay clear of Android I will probably get rid of my N8 before it gets molested by this silly cosmetic change. That's how much I dislike Android.

Thanks for the update. Nice to know it won't be dead on arrival then. Still doesn't help those of us who live in the UK though, unless Nokia do release it in more countries.

nokia are not twidderling there... more Whether or not Nokia release Belle doesn't matter anymore as the Symbian foundation have been given the death sentence by Nokia.
So, software developers will begin to stop development of new apps for Symbian powered phones.
Symbian Anna is a much needed update to correct the many issues currently affecting the N8 but it still won't entice developers into producing new software for the platform, and by the time Belle is released ( if it gets released at all ) interest in Nokia will be at an all time low, with many people going over to Android or iOS powered phones.
I'd prefer not to be the one to post such negative comments because I'd like Nokia and Symbian to survive, but sadly the cold facts can't be ignored.

I also have the same thought as yours... I love symbian although it's bit buggy... morewhat do you think that they aree doing with anna and belle???
