u can play youtube videos on 2g without breakup.
all the 2g and 3g spectrum are covered.that means 2g as mentioned ,download at maximum speed for 2g.
3g- best video calling . when 3g pricesa re reduced,feel the same enthusiasm after five years downloading at incredible speed
u hold one old nokia n73 , it has a secondary camera .it was released in 2006 ,and i wondered why it had secondary camera. u hold it now , use it for video call. thats what nokia was and is ,will be.. u can give that to ur relatives ,who dont use much of apps. let them enjoy video call.
now samsung. -they sell plastic scrap ,except thier galaxy 2.
no secondary camera in most of there 10-15 k phones.
android comes for free with these jukies .looting money for plastic.
my galaxy some 5318 , that looks so much ugly with plastic eroded on back panel . its like sanitize or kill.
had nokia c5 ,best but for 3g download as modem , with video call at 8k.thats what connecting people.
sony erricosn - they bring in arc, their new phone with no secondary camera to call ,at whopping 25-30k.
i had nokia e63, u know people ,it had no secondary camera ,but the primary can be used for video call.
the best mail on go. well in that i dont know blackberry, but i feel they are crumbled by pressure .
still love to use that business phone which my freind got me,thats the magic of nokia and its relationship to lost,pure gold....the royal red nokia e63 ,i cherish it . will get it back from bro.
sony erricsson-with there arc, where they are heading with no secondary camera ,albight thin. then whats meaning, see that plastic cover when tried to remove , ur heart will come to ur mouth . that is that much fragile.
apps- u want cartoons go for android.apple i dont know.
ovi ,i am not complaining i use it maximum utilities and i am happy .

after i've faced serious problems with my nokia n900...i'm now planning to buy a blackberry 9780 or this nokia n8...what do you think or suggest brothers if i'm not going to activate a bbm on the bb 9780 considering that both phones have the same price??
plzz reply as soon as possible...very confused :s

The phone is suck.I had use Nokia Phone for more then 10 years but this is the woret phone i had. Auto shut down cant turn on and the ram seems like problem to handle 16G memory.
I had repair for few time at last sold out and lost more then 50%.....
I will strong reccomand to those who want to buy this model think twice,,,,,,,

using the phone from 3 month its a fantastic phone but now the light sensor problem has araised when i go out to sun if an incoming call comes the light in the screen goes blank please help

AnonD-3535, 09 Jun 2011My n8 once managed to read my 500 gig external HDD, (toshiba) but with the use of an additiona... moremaybe because you're using 500G that's why it took n8 that long to access the files in it. i'm wondering though, if it could open files in a 320G hdd faster like under a minute. anyway thanks for the info, appreciate it.

i'm thinking of getting this phone or an android. my only problem with android phones is i have to purchase the applications that are already included in N8. like the office applications (excel, word, etc.)
i'm more of a business phone user person rather than a games and applications phone user. if they can come up with an android phone where office applications are already included an i don't have to pay for it. then i'll opt for android.

What about you folks in other countries/regions - Where does it say your phone was made?
It seems all the N8s being sold in Canada were made in China.

How large are the fonts in "large" setting? Can someone post an image of comparison between "normal" size and "large" size?
Also, can I change the display language to Korean?

My coussin buy N8 last month and when I go to meet them then I saw N8... moreI had the N8 and noted how good the quality is through the headfones using my senheiser cx300.I would say its the best quality next to the cowon 10 PMP from 2006..Miriam joire from endgadget said the n8 has astounding sound quality..It is a very very well built smartfone.Best camerafone ever.

when i switched the phone 4 the first time it freezed i really didnt expect this from the first s^3 honestly m not satisfied with this phone i m waiting 4 PR 2.00 if it is nice i will keep my n8 if not i think i will buy an iphone ,all of the people tht have an iphone are very satisfied :) but i m not dissapoited from nokia .....EXPECTING MORE FROM NOKIA

What an MOBILE SIR JEE.
My coussin buy N8 last month and when I go to meet them then I saw N8, OH what an mobile, truly Nokia UR great n I salute from my heart core. What an Display clarity, What an sound quality, what an camera quality, what an xeon flash quality and I like the most in N8 that it's play AVI and it's also play MKV file? I don't believe this that Nokia N8 support MKV file, I play Movie (I Hate Love Story) in MKV format and guys U don't believe me that it's play like mini 3D Theater. Now I'm sure that I will definately buy Nokia N8 after selling my Nokia 5800 XpressMusic.
Who r confused that N8 or E7 or other Android smart phone? I'm recommended N8.
Android Smart Phone never give U a Carl zeiss optics or Xeon flash.

I've used iphone, android devices, in fack i had the g2x, a dual core android fone before n8, i'll tell u n8 is not near as fast or powerful but i can feel the difference, this symbiam os is in whole another level, sure it needs a few twicks but we cant have it all, till the anna update of course, the phone itself feels great in the hand, not like those chocolate bar that will easily break, go for it people
