How long does it take for your N8 to fully charge the battery?

I've this phone since last November, am running pr1.2 with beta maps etc. The phone already does everything I want it to, great call quality, I get reception where others don't, txt's and email is easy, music is great, I've a camera with me all the time. I don't need an update but I'm looking forward to them. Doing an apple and copying notifications and vice versa looks like a good idea to me

Ray, can you tell me all the correct settings to use 3g on my n8? I have activated 3g data but my n8 uses 2g. so please tell me how the settings should be set.

Anonymous, 09 Jun 2011hi! does anybody know if an external hdd with 320 gig capacity can work with n8 when connected... moreMy n8 once managed to read my 500 gig external HDD, (toshiba) but with the use of an additional power source, I have split usb connector for my toshiba, the one is connected to the n8 and the one for my laptop as power source for the HDD. But it took almost 3 mins for the n8 to be able to read the files I had in my HDD.

can any one suggest that i want to go for nokia n8.but now a days android is the best software in phones.but nokia is using symbioan.And is there any difference in performance during internet connection.how many days battery back up can we expect.

I used to have N8 but suddenly i misplace it somewhere in the market and didn't find it back. Is there any way to locate it? or any possibilities?How?Please help i really love my phone and its special to me.

all i know is, when i come to a party
n8 takes great pictures and stereo hd videos
n8 plays music on speakers or any radio
n8 shows pictures or videos from last party on hdtv (even play monopoly) using wireless mouse
n8 transfers those files to usb sticks for everyone
n8 navigates you home if you've had a few or are in an unknown area for free
no hangs, battery at 50% in the morning, without scratches
tell me which other phone can do all that and ill buy it...

Guys why is almost every premium hd game free in ovi store? That is amazing, one more reason i love nokia!

I'm having trouble updating my software...When I go to the Software Update App on the phone, and click on device software, with the green tick on it, Nothing happens! All the other updates get downloaded, but not the main firmware! I've noticed that there is an exclamation mark next to the word Software...Please help!

My wife n8 is not working perfectly,the camera is not shwing at all,pls do some thing from factory reset.
The phone is good to use.

Anonymous, 08 Jun 2011this phone has issues, it just hangs on you and unlike other phones where you can boot it by r... moreif you read your manual or have ever owned a laptop, you would know that pressing and holding down the power button for 8 seconds serves the exact same function as removing the battery.
