I tried everything but of no use.. Then i took it to nokia care.. People at NC tried everything from hard reset to formatting the phone but with no success. Then they sent me a new n8.. I've been using this set for 3 months without any problem.. So i will advice u to take ur set to nokia care...

this phone has issues, it just hangs on you and unlike other phones where you can boot it by removing the Battery u cant on this because the battery is internal

menu key plus camera key plus volume down plus power button. hold until phone vibrates and voilla...

and who said you cant take the battery out????
all you need is a little screwdriver to get the botton off and you can take the battery out it is so easy,
I dont know what the big deal is about not taking the battery out,
besides having the battery screwed in like that only makes the device sterdy.

the nokia n8 very bad hangs too much ram is very less and that is why people don't buy this phone because it has really apps no good games but if then also you to buy yous wish

Only when you are connected to WiFi. If it does... well, you have to hold down the power button for like 40 SECONDS ... and then turn it on again.
Happens man...to any phone... no matter what OS it has... Maybe it depends on the age of the phone... but a 2-3 month old phone SHOULD BASICALLY NOT freeze on you.

I... morehey, thats no problem, you only need to long press on the on/off button and on again and viola, its an awesome fon thou you will need the sillicon cover to avoid scratching this beast of a fon, do not listen to the haters, only perform the screen test before buying just incase some of the defective screen sets are still in the market

I had previously a Samsung Galaxy S. It was a pretty good phone and did the job but I don't care about zillions of apps and just want a few basic things.
Calling and SMS
Nokia maps (this is the main reason a switched)
Basic internet browsing
Music and movie play back
The good camera is a bonus
Once the wow effect over the smooth animations in Android was over, there wasn't much left. I needed free maps for the entire world, for free and Nokia has that.
I'm sad that Nokia is abandon Symbian. Symbian gets it done. That Symbian is old id no excuse, look at Windows 7, which has gone all the way from Windows 95. Nokia weren't aiming high enough.
If they can Symbian I'm not sure what I'm going to choose in the future. Windows phone is out of the question.

hi,this mobile is good but OS,symbiab,3 is old . now android or windows mobile are better.video 720p@25fps not bad, but 720p@60frams per second is very good.
