I cannot use N8 for skype video call. anybody find any ... moreU better try the latest fring,it got video calls+group video calls :),skype will update to have video calls along with Anna update cos I saw it on their tweets.So,it's worth and try fring first,it still quite good.Cheers...

i have my nokia n8...i like the features but when i bought my n8 according to the agents in nokia center the screen cannot be scratch by any metal object but unfortunately its sad to say thats not true because my phone scratch by metal object.....

I got my N8 almost 6 months back.I am fully satisfied with the phone.But I have a ... moreThe problem of calls getting disconnected is most likely caused by the proximity sensor. Nokia are aware that the range of the sensor is too short and should be fixed with a software update, possibly when Anna gets released. In the meantime, you can lock the screen with the side lock slider button to turn the screen off during calls.
Anna is supposed to be released sometime this summer, around July / August. Two features that will be incorporated are a portrait QWERTY keyboard with split screen text input and a new browser. Other improvements are a refreshed Ovi maps, a new icon set and general bug fixes.

I play Tron video so you can easily see the difference...
Up to 95% of tint is gone and becomes unnoticeable...

You told you network doesn't allow I-Phone but if you want to use it you can "Factory Unlock" it with "Gevy SIM" it costs only 20$USD here in Bangladesh.
But why I-Phone when you've an great option to use Nokia N8 it's awsome phone I've ever used. You can have it.
Here we are only to share our ideas but the choice is yours.....
