Hey guys read all the views kindly suggest should i go in for the N8 or the HTC desireZ
Also whats the difference between the Android OS, v2.2 (Froyo) and the Symbian^3 OS.
Would be obliged if you reverted.

help, 20 May 2011When I plug my N8 in my PC it connects it but when I want to put some videos or songs it stops... morenokia n8 nice phone i have it the problem is ths browser is not fast y i love nokia

Hi, it sounds like the N8 is either brilliant or problematic... My network provider doesnt offer an I-ph as an option, so its either a BB Torch or the N8 or N72, could anyone offer some advice on which to go with???? thanks

After installing various software overlays like SPB mobile shell (which is great) I still use the symbian UI 99% of the time. Sure S3 may not be the best OS around but there are things that kind of pull you to it. Dont allow the rest of the world to make you discontented with your N8. Judge from your own experience. Curious to see what Anna will bring

uninstall from control panel... and install the drivers from Nokia site. I think they are called nokia connectivity drivers... something along them lines

Below is a solution taken from Nokia support discussions official website.
--------------------------------------------------------------
1. Disconnect your phone from your computer.
2. Go to Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel.
3. Remove Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver
Remove Nokia Ovi Suite
Remove PC Connectivity Solution
4. Download and run Nokia PC Suite Cleaner from
http://www.nokia.dk/produktsupport/download-software/pc-suite/how-to/nokia-pc-suite-cleaner
5. Reboot
6. Download latest version of OVI Suite from
http://www.nokia.dk/produktsupport/download-software/nokia-ovi-suite/compatibility-and-download
7. Turn off you AntiVirus/Spyware and Firewall(Including Windows Firewall if enabled) software before you start the install of OVI Suite- very important!!
8. Reboot after installation of OVi Suite
9. Do not start OVI Suite yet after reboot!
10. Make sure your AV Software/firewall is not turned on.
11. Connect your phone using your USB cable.
12. The drivers should install without any problems. Takes a minute or so.
13. Start OVI Suite after Windows reports that the installation was successful.
Everything should work now.

Love the N8, but by accident (in ignorance) deleted menu from screen an can't access menu now. What can I do to get it back?

I think that is the windows problem...
How to uninstall all the N8 usb drivers and reinstall them?
There is error of the USB..
This happens to lot of N8!!!

Its such a nice smartphone in solid aluminium ive seen it a few times in store but just started taking note with summer coming up that 12MP camera will works wonders.I have a digital camera but only take it to special evenmts.I have missed some moments not having a decent cam,,also e72 is only 15FPS video record @VGA so this would be superb update.
Who says Nokia is dead is silly ,i think windows 7 will flop and Nokia will do series 40 for budget,,s60 for midrange and Meego for high end.
Meego is a linux powerhouse by the way..Anyhow i am still supporting Nokia.Just had sgs s2 but its too biggggggg...It went back..
