Hi.. ive been using the n8 for 5 months now, and since last week it started to shut down on its own,then i can only turn it back on again about 15-20 hours later.. i can only use the phone for 20min to an hour and it turns off again,then i have to wait 15hours again.. Its not the battery,ive made sure its fully charged,and ive tried the master reset,but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions??

hi guys. NEED ADVICE. i have a choice between two phones. Nokia N8 and BB 9300. N8 kick 9300 ass in terms of features. But bear in mind the fact that nokia has 'purple screen' problems and a lot of defects. whereas BB, i will have free internet and BBM. what should i choose? thanks

BelaCom Nig, 27 Apr 2011I'll be buying either nokia C7 or N8 next week. C7 is 50,000 - 55,000 in Nigeria while N8 is 7... morehi, you better go for c7, the reason is 99% features are same to n8 and it looks nice also. you don't loose 30'000 your money,

guys i find that when i enter applications it is super laggy and takes about 10 sec for me to even start scrolling.Guys what should i do please help me with this

Bob, 27 Apr 2011Yes, i plugged it but i don't know where to access the stereo FM@Bob. To access the FM Radio, just goto Applications and select the Radio app. It's about five rows down. As previously mentioned, don't forget the headphones. They need to be plugged in as they act as the antenna.
Have you also tried using Nokia Internet Radio app, available from the Ovi store? Highly recommended, and you don't need to use the headphones as an antenna as it uses your 3G or Wi-Fi signal.

Yes Driver Chip problem, I will suggest you Do not deal to Nokia care if said only screen is changed, beacuse even Nokia care how many times changed a amoled screen is same result, The Only way to solve that is both driver chips and Amoled screen need changed and driver chips need came from the original manufacturer not nokia own driver chip, There's no chance to solve it via firmware update, second batch of N8 will released last december2010 4months up to nokia they dont know how to fixed this problem,
But I doubt it nokia spend money in this issued, beacuse Nokia will save money for Windows Mobile Phone,

when is ANNA version of the symbian 3 releasing for n8??
it is expected to have a much better browser and its keypad is to be QWERTY in the potrait mode too

for the extra 30000, u get an amazing 12MP camera and HDMI output ...features that are killers in the smartphone industry
i think USB OTG cable comes with the n8 box whereas in C7 it is not an in box accessory
