Awesome phone, sometimes I wish phones would more look like this N8. It doesn't have the smallest bezels out there,but that makes this phone looks so cool. Plus, on my black N8, the chrome accents around the camera, the volume controls and the camera button give it a very premium look.

If your Nokia N8 was used till the battery dies, you might just have to buy a charger for the battery. I had a Nokia windows phone and when it did that it begins charging but never does, but if you charge your battery separate and introduce the battery charge into your N8 it will work.

Hi, My nokia was in save power mode, and it turned off after the battery was used to end , i tried to turn it on , it did not respond

griff, 27 Jan 2014why does th nokia sometimes goes off and on again is it faulty What do you do before it happens? It can only happen if you change a theme and don't reboot your phone after that, otherwise maybe there's something wrong.

Some persons like paragb, parbinder and gitty have insulted the N8 in the samsung N7100 forum. They have stopped now. They agreed that they used Nokia devices in the past. They do not have gratitude to those devices.

MdN8, 26 Jan 2014Sounds like the software updates that we got over the last year or so. I'm surprised they were... moreWell they got me there. All it said was software update so I did not know what it was all about. Then, before I could tap cancel or decide what to do, a call came in at the most inappropriate time and that was the end of that. It went through automatically, not allowing me to cherry pick what I might have wanted updated. I'll see about that one day, I guess.

Stupid me, 26 Jan 2014I got a software update which included update of 10 items including Colorizit, some widget, em... moreSounds like the software updates that we got over the last year or so. I'm surprised they weren't already included in the Belle update, but I guess it's easier like that for Nokia. As for Microsoft stuff, it comes as standard with Symbian but I think Carol told you not to install it during the update as it just takes up space and not many use it. If you got it anyway (I still have it) you can check it out and see if it's of any use to you, and probably uninstall it if you don't need it.

Thanks for the info. Delight 6.4 seems cool and more stable than the stock ROM and everyone is saying it's better than stock firmware in many ways. As a beginner to Symbian, I'm little afraid to flash my phone with delight 6.4 CFW because I might do something wrong and hard brick the phone so I'm giving it some time to learn more about flashing Delight 6.4.

So, after the software update was installed, up pops a screen headed "Microsoft apps" with a software agreement "between you and Nokia Inc. for US residents". The agreement is governed by the laws of New York. Either I tap OK or cancel. Anybody can tell me what that is about? Will Microsoft apps help me in any way? Should I tap cancel? Hell, I don't know what to do.
