I get GPS lock in 10-15 seconds when using airtel SIM(mobile office as GPRS settings) but it generally takes more than 7-8 minutes using vodafone SIM(vodafone live as GPRS settings). What is wrong with the GPS? I am from india.

in FAT32 format, the n8 will power even a 1.5 TB hard drive

If only this mobile had the power of linux. If I knew a someone looking to splash out their hard earned cash on a *brand new mobile. I'd give some golden rule advice & it goes like this. Wait for a little while, Nokia have a new handset in the works with a linux based OS called Meego.
I bought an N900 & have never been happier. The N900 is the phone the N8 could have been. But then some things sarcificed & some things gained. You can't have it all. I chose some things gained. Still my N900 has much much much more memory than the N8, not bad for an "older" mobile!
