Anonymous, 06 Dec 2013thanks for ur reply but the app mobile cleaner is not working. Whenever i install it, it says ... moreIf the phone is hacked, go to RomPatcher+ and check that all 3 patches are active before trying to install. If they are not set to "auto" they might be off after a reboot. If you still can't install Mobile Cleaner, try another version like this one:
or this one:
You can also try RSCCleaner, it will give you 10-20 MB free space. When you run it the phone will reboot after cleaning and take longer to switch on, but only the first time. Here it is:
You only need to use this once, after that you can delete the app.
Then, go to C/private/1020e519 and delete all the "mobilecrash" files.
Then, go to C/private/102072c4 and delete the "reserved" file. That's 20 MB, but the file will reappear if you don't make the folder "read only" when you check the firmware version, so don't do that except with some app. :-)
Hope some of this helps.
what is the best firmware for N8 ? xeon belle? delight belle or nokia belle?

Whenever i install it, it says file corrupted. I have hacked my cell with nortan stil certificate errors are there. & i had faced some minor issues like automatic switch off almost everyday, while surfing net or while playing a song. At that time, ram was around 46mb. But just now N8 is working like charm as it work every time, but just want to keep some better free space in C: drive. Can any1 suggest any other app (which doesnt have certificate error), so that i can get enough free space in phone memory ??
Anonymous, 05 Dec 2013Uh, clear cache and never use built-in browser again?
P.s. I don't have an N8.Based on my experience, N8 doesn't have a problem to perform normally with 86 MB left in C, because Symbian is so optimized and efficient OS. My friend's N8 is still working with 10 MB memory left in Drive C.
You already did the right things by instaling Mobile cleaner and clear internet cache.
If you want more space in drive C, you can uninstal unimportant apps like Colorizit from drive C. you also have to set the intalation preference in Nokia Store setting to Drive E (Mass Memory). I think you're OK.
Anonymous, 05 Dec 2013Uh, clear cache and never use built-in browser again? P.s. I don't have an N8.But you're right anyway. ;-) I'm using Opera Mini for most things, and UC Browser for some as it comes with a QR code scanner, some neat options and themes, and a free 2+2 GB cloud, so I just send larger stuff there and download later from PC. Of course, it's not important or personal stuff, also not the kind of stuff I would talk about here. :-D
viber call is not work & amharic soft ware is not install in nokia n8

Hi friends, Ram of N8 is getting filled up unnecessarily. I updated my phone before a week at service centre & got 137.5 mb free c: drive. But when i started using internet on cell, memory drained to 86 mb just now. I tried downloading mobile cleaner but after downloading, it says unsupported content. I hacked my phone with Nortan & with x-plore, i can see many files filled up in c: in private, resource & sys folders. What shall i do to make some free space ??
mannix, 05 Dec 2013nokia don't know if you are doing your research well,no matter which phone you released or you... moreI too completely agree with you brother. I am using N8 since one n half years & still facing no major issues (except some minor lags & rare switch offs due to low ram, but its too rare, rest is just awesome). Many of my friends use high-end smartphones. But N8 stands still its place. Conquering almost all the phones till now in respect of camera, except for lumia 1020 & pureview 808. I know, N8 lacks in respect of apps, but we can download awesome apps from n8fanclub, they are just awesome, & in near future, i hope the deficit of lack of apps will surely be filled by Nokia. But i can proudly say, N8 is way ahead of androids in respect of multi-tasking, fast processing, sturdiness, rock solid built, looks awesome, premium aluminum coating, hangs & lags rarely than always laggy androids, it has good battery backup, & the best part is its more than 3 years from release of N8, & today the daily interest touched 41%. I am proud owner of my N8.
nokia don't know if you are doing your research well,no matter which phone you released or you are planning to release it will never matched N8, you know why N8 is still the best? It's the only phone you can do everything with from camera video rec,HDMi tv out you can watch your movie either using your phone on the go by using USB flash OTG or watching on your HDTV using HDMI cable not forgeting 3D dolby digital sound this phone can give, you can also transmit your music/radio to any fm radio wherever you are and share with others, you can also watch setlite tv if you have mobile drifter on the go. If nokia wants to conquer in business they should continue to use the same mechanism found in N8,N9 and nok 909 preview and add little improvement such as Ram mem and OS. For me Nokia N8 still the best and have no comparison for those who knows what they wants in mobile...
Travelled and used camera of N8 alongside
with wife's 16MP Olympus
and - what you think -
photos from N8 is better!!
Anonymous, 03 Dec 2013replacing N8 with blackberry Z10, is it a good decision ?)Maybe. :-) I am interested in Z10 too, it's a flagship phone, not many have it, they say the price is good now and all the bugs are fixed, camera is OK, but I would still keep the N8.

No upgrades are planned unless Nokia surprises us from the grave. :-( But there were some updates, new widgets, new Maps, new Social, a "fix for messaging" etc, so if you have them all, this is it...
