My N8 is just brilliant, everything it does with great fluancy!, no probs at all!i cann't imagine any other mobile will ever be better than N8!Now I cann't imagine living without N8!Cheers Nokia!!!
last week my n8 was hanged and it is replaced by nokia care and will deliver about 3 weeks later.i am really shocked.

But it will be better if you bring your unit to NC and ask the guys there ... morei'm considering that option but as of the moment, i think i'll hold on to my n8 for a little while until there's a known solution for the amoled problem. i've read some ncc's don't know how to fix it and worse, some even received their unit with scratches in it after ncc returned it. thanks anyway.
I have problems sometimes with my N8 it freezes, I have to restart the phone before I can use it, is there any tweaks for this? Thanks

Hi N8ers UCweb 7.6 is released,download now it's far better than Nokia's default browser.
Need to say this, I bought my lovely N8 in December 2010 and never experienced any issue with the AMOLED screen! Myne is pitch black.. Thanks Nokia for this awsome piece of art!! I would never settle for anything less..

to corect myself there was a restart issue
i am sorry sy far i have no idea about purple tint
i know 4 people using this phone no on e has this problem we got the phones around the same time just few weeks apart etc
but dont forget to storm in if you say there is a tint issue
how about viseos and movies which i can directly download from a website
i dont have my laptop with me so i will use the phone with WiFi and get it downloaded
by the way i just got HAWX installed

no screen tint issue
please write top Nokia care or just storm in to their store Indian Style
trust me my friend and i got the HS 1 month apart he had issues so we went in a group of 7 and literally vandalised store you know these people are half trained and weird
just dont let go make sure you are heard and report this to local media it works

we collected a new Handset after 1 week WITHOUT FAULT
i am from chennai i bought n8 on 3rd nov since last 03rd mar i have not got any problem even not a single restart of the phone the phone was working very good and i have not even had purple screen problem i am using vodafone and when i switched my vodafone gsm to 3g and vodafone tv my n8 switched off and no response i taken it to nokia care and they told me that they have to send the n8 to delhi to service and it will take about 10 days to get the same and i gave them for service when i asked them what happened to my n8 on 13th march they told that they have received a new n8 as replacement all the datas has been lost and when i got there they gave me a new n8 when now has purple screen problem when i asked about that they told all the n8 has the same problem they cannot do nothing about that what to do i dont no this is true
