The difference in the video recording of N8 and E7 is: N8 has special video zoom, which allows you to zoom up to 3x without deterioration of video quality. The E7 has no zoom, but has dual led flash for video light which the N8 lacks.

[deleted post]Here. Help yourself and read the horror stories of people affected by the problem. The N8 and C7 are affected and people at Nokia Care are downplaying the issue even after Nokia acknowledged the defect and released a bulletin.
79 pages long of complaints and anguish and you fanboys are still dennying it. Nokia messed up here amd they acknowledged the defect but the Nokia Care centers are still unhelpful despite the internal bulletin about the defect.
Just because you never experience or have it doesn't mean a thing. The purple defect is real and people worldwide are noticing.

it supports most of t format......touch was superb.......can't beat its clarity.........but only probs is symbian

i bought Nokia N8 3 months ago and it works like a workhorse:
no display problem
no hanging
no battery problem
no others smartphone such as iphone 3gs or 4 can be compared!

i know like 15 N8 users and none had that problem! I also ask a friend who works @ Claro and she told me that no one has taken an N8 to then for that reason! Mine its ok.

Used to freeze, restart a... moreAll Nokia N8 at are the same regardless of colors. they may differ only in the outside but the inside are all the same. Nokia N8 is a not good, they are expensive but not really good. I used to be an avid Nokia buyer. but not anymore. they don't really improve their products.

Its suck..

I had my first N8 in Oct 2010. It was black, and really problematic. Used to freeze, restart and at times refused to accept the call as the screen froze. I was really disappointed as I loved its camera and other features but could not carry on with these problems. i also read about the defective motherboards on N8 and the symptoms mine was facing would have to end in it being dead. So I sold it before it could die on me. Now on 15th March, I got a new Silver N8 and must say its awesome. maybe the software upgrade has sorted out the glitches, but I love the colour. It looks really cool and now I am enjoying every moment of my new N8.
I feel sorry for the guys having problems with their sets, I can feel their anguish. Thankfully, for me this is over and I am able to get a defect free N8.

nokia doesn't know exactly from which point this problem had occured....out of 100,70% handset is defected by this purple reddish problem and samsung is big and too big from nokia ,they can't give nokia 70% defective amoled screen..so basically its nokia hardware graphic chipset problem and if its then its very difficult to solve this problem bcoz this problem is in large scale and nokia can't change hardware in large scale bcoz by this they can have a big loss so thats y nokia is showing their ignoring attitude towards this problem.......
