to make n8 the best ever should definately remove new update upgrade making its hardware run to max performance & superb sound graphics & release a attachment of xtra battery & easy to hold & for gaming
& release all superb games high defination free, n8 should release so well made software that while playing games it doesnt hang or pause but in subtitle u get the info dat getting a call or message so go there pausing saving the current game

Anonymous, 25 Feb 2011I I had an n8..loved it..but now I own a hd7.. Beleive me,it is even better yes like hd7....now nokia has also adpoted wp7 so definitely will see like hd7 mobile in nokia next year

Can N8 receive by bluetooth any file bigger than 300 Mb ? ( because there is no option to choose mass storage or memory card to receive message like symb 1) N8 user Pls reply .

Hi N8 Users, I have just came to GSM areana to check the opinions on the N8 and Surprisingly found more of Non N8 users(Galaxy & Iphone) here. I could understand that N8 Guys are using their time taking snaps and Videos with the awesome 12MP snapper and having the pleasure to use the simple OS rather than Scrolling across Screens and Checking the web if there are any new apps which they can load on the handset(which will be used only one and never used again.
I Short N8 users enjoy the handset, rest of you keep this forum alive, Your presence is needed to fill up GSM areana servers LOL.....

It seems this phone is the best. No problem switching network band on T-mobile, AT&T or any other carrier cost it has a lot of 3G network HSDPA 850/900/1700/1900/2100. I like Nokia a lot. Infact I am a Nokia fan. However, the only thing disadvantages about this phone is a little bit slow processor. Competition with other phone brand on 1gig or more like dual processor, that is why it hangs up sometimes for too much apps open. Also, it doesn't have Adobe Flash 10 player. Overall its a good phone.
I am begining to chanGe my phone to Motorolla Atrix. You should check out the specs. Its WOOOW! Its an Android, Dual proccesor Cortex 9, G Force GPU (Graphic Proceesing Unit, Adobe flash 10.1 player, comes with nice computer dock, HDMI port that support 1080,and can video conferrence also.. WOOWEE!!!

Nokia is made a very difficult decision, and I must admit, I am against it to. Nokia has been the undisputable number 1 for over the last decade, and they are trying hard to regain lost trust. Let them be haters. At least they do not force themselves to lie to their customers.

I previously paid almost 27 dls for this shell, but after download the app for 5 times, they said I spent the amount of downloads available, hate these guys, I won't paid for this sh... again, also where's the ndesk you mentioned? I couldn't find it in the Ovistore.

got my nokia n8 yesterday...kudos to nokia for excellent touchscreen. A thousand times better than symbian 5th edition.

Guys to speed up the phone turn off Theme effects.
Settings > Themes > General > options > Theme effects > Off.
You should notice the difference big time when swiping and in general!

If they werent that good these haters... moreCome on guys, let's be honest, Nokia is probably the best mobiles brand ever, also the N8 is an amazing cellphone, but only hardware speaking, myself I love my N8, but the lack of applications available for Symbian and the desperate tries from the Nokia CEO about merging with Microsoft, it's just another mistake. I'm really disapointed about how old the Symbian 3 looks in my N8, comparing with the Iphone 4 and the Samnsung galaxy, this UI is a joke, really slow, the browsers sucks including the Opera, anyways the only thing I can tell is really good it's the 12 mp camera and the HDMI port, 'cause even the USB on the go doeesn't even move my 500 gb HDD.
