I can also recommend an app called RSCcleaner (just Google it) which is a little brutal, but it worked on my N8. If you can access C/private/102072c4 and delete the "reserved" file that's 20 MB free right away, but be careful as the phone creates this file again every time you type *#0000# to check your firmware version (explanation in the article).
Hey friends, i feel that my N8 has slowed down just a bit, i think its because of low memory in C: drive(phone memory), its 43 MB left in it. Can anyone suggest a remedy to get sufficient phone memory. As i always install all the apps from ovi store, n8fanclub & from other sources in mass memory, E: drive. But i dont know Where to look up whats filling up the phone memory as I've not even synced the emails, i always Delete the history & cache from opera mini/mobile & uc browser. Plz help. I dont want that this best cell should suffer such a silly thing of getting filled up phone memory without any reason.
Friends can anyone suggest me link having CFW based on Symbian ANNA 025.007
just downgraded My N8 to Anna from Belle refresh.. So only..
Anonymous, 15 Nov 2013can i download apps like instagram, and camera 360 in nokia n8? There's Instagraph Uploader (for Instagram) on Nokia Store, that's it. N8 is more for serious photography than for sites like that... Though, if you want to play around with your photos you can try CameraPro, SCam, CameraLover, PureFix, Sophie Cam, HDR Camera, CameraBag, HDR Pro, Photorim, PhotoFX, Panorama, CameraFX, Exposure Cam, Infrared, ShaderFX, FastMotion, BurstCamera, Cam Ruler, Cam Measure and a few more. ;-)
Anonymous, 14 Nov 2013what is greater N8 or Lumia 800
thanks in advance :)Lumia 800 runs Windows Phone 7, which is discontinued and soon will be forgotten. It needs Zune for file transfer, no Bluetooth file transfer, even less options than WP8. But it's a really good looking phone, and works smooth.
N8 has a better camera, battery, way more features and if you don't need to be online all the time it's a more complete, classic phone. Symbian is discontinued too, but people still care about it, and for some users it still does more than WP ever will, it depends on what you need.

I've been using N8 for about two months. . yes, of course ! it supports many important apps . . .such as opera mobile web browser , UC browser, Viber , Whatsapp. . .its pictures quality is really good even i make a photo in low light place ( without using flash) . .i believe in Nokia quality that is why i bought this one ( 12 mega pixels camera smart phone !).
Its voice quality , battery back up and signal strengh are also good. . especially its size and weight is comfortable for me to keep it in my pocket while travelling . .
The good point is : i always keep its pictures in my tablet ( its images quality are so good when i see it in pc or tablet). Thanks again Nokia :)
I triend instaling xeon belle but its not extracting only 1 file is extracting to main folder plz tell me what to do
you can do anything in this phone it is great but in android you can always carry with your battery charger update your n8 cheers friends

you're obviously insecure to n8 users like us. n8 is unmatched from the day it was born until now. insecurity KILLS!
Hello, good day. Im using Nokia 701 another good handset aside from Nokia N8 and Nokia 808. Things are good in this phone. Simple yet elegant thats how can I explain it. Lagdroid dont had any chance to overcome symbian. Because symbian is for people who satisfies a customer like me :)
symbian support some good apps: skype, wechat, viber, whatsapp, opera mini, opera mobile, molome, photo browser, uc browser, andromenu, fb browser, tweetian, danger dash, bejewelled.
Nokia build a better phone, a better hardware and a better os, thats symbian forever to loved and beloved :)
SANDDY, 12 Nov 2013is there any way to upgrade N8 to Android OS............NO. There is really no way you can do that...
AnonD-186347, 11 Nov 2013Thank u frnd... .. Last one more.... No future updates for N8I really don't think so. Could be some small software updates but that's about it.
AnonD-186347, 11 Nov 2013Is any Carla or Donna update for n8... And tell me the latest version......Nope. Nokia Belle FP1 is Carla, Nokia belle FP2 is Donna and the last Symbian firmware update there will be. Nokia N8 has Nokia Belle Refresh which is a light version of FP1. There will be no more firmware updates for N8.
