so far this is the best phone in the world and on the market does any one else know any other phone that can compette and please dont say the iphone 4 u will be charged

I love my N8!! The best cell available!! and my little sis got for free an Iphone4!! once you know all the cool things you can do with the hardware and the os ull love it!!

i just got my n8 last week and the battery drains up quickly and i have to recharge it oftenly.especialy when i use the internet.is there a problem with my phone bcoz some go a whole day without charging?

y u guys r so hurted f nokia keep its symbian? y blackberry still using its os/ui on their torch but nobody criticize them, but still loyalists of blackberry keep on buying blackberry. Nokia has their own trademarks, they dont want to imitate iphone or other brands, if u dont want Nokia do not buy it, but do not criticize them like they have the worst phone in the world ever, but us, the Nokia fans, we love our N8, so friendly user phone, with all the necessary features for everyday use, that would last for life.

This would great if they hardware with WP7 os is put out. This baby would rock. To add a little favor to it put in dual core to spice it up.

tushaar, 21 Feb 2011i m confuse between n8 n galaxy tab... which one i should buy..!!! plzz give me suggestion..It's hard to compare when one is considered a tablet and the other is a phone. Totally different worlds.

by seeing daily interest i can say that still there are many potential buyers and good numbers of nokia die hard fans. Most of them come here to see whether problems are solved... Or to see new promised updates are released or not or to see released updates are stable and problem free... Nokia please do something as early as possible to retain your fans... Most of the users are unhappy and spending most of their time in nokia care and in updating software and resetting and restarting...if this attitude towards quality goes on this year also then nokia should change their name to something else and come to market to start rebuilding their brand with microsoft

Even has USB OTG, HDMI out, 3D camera and the rest.
Nokia's answer to this, the N12 is well over a year away.

N8 User and Lover, 21 Feb 2011I didn't see any comments on the Galaxy S page about how it slows and freezes like the N8 does... moreThat is more because of a software glitch due to early firmware rather than because of the processor. That will be fixed when upcoming firmware updates are released. I've never had problems playing HD games. Mine plays perfectly well. My main gripe is the memory leak. Apps and widgets eat up too much RAM. But still it's attributed to the early firmware state which can still possibly be fixed by firmware updates.

Mine crashes when you enter information like searches and login pages.
Sometimes hangs when typing in a search for destinations on Ovi Maps.

Just improve. Symbian is advanced in terms of functionality, only lagging behind in terms of user interface eyecandiness.

Didn't the N97 and N97 Mini have issues too.
Since I've had the N8, all games have slowed, jerked and crashed completely, especially when you have more than 1 app open. When that app is your video player or camera it's garanteed.

And for the record, N8's GPU is more powerful than that of Galaxy S and the like. ARM11 680MHz CPU is for the applications, opening, switching them. Most Android phones with 1GHz CPU are not faster than N8. Symbian@680MHz is equal to Android@1GHz in real world performance. Sometimes, numbers is not everything.
