phone is very good, just needs to release a software update for making it superfast, accurate
the problem is battery life, still the phones coming with 1000mah or 1200mah battery
why no 4000mah 5000mah battery ? so at least goes on for a week

very nice phone yet i regret of buying it since symbian will die out soon. what more can nokia e7 be if nokia will prioritize its partnership with microsoft and produce nokia wp phones? how sad

But whenever im transferring media files like pictures,... moreThat's a problem with symbian we've been begging to be fixed since forever. Here's a trick though. Google a software, xplore. In out, go to tools, messaging, mark all the messages then move them top wherever.

Why do you think Nokia put only a 680 MHz with this phone? Yet, I know they are competing with other manufacturers which has 1 GHz processor. Do you think they are idiot? Or are they smart enough to compete what is equal to other manufacturers?

That's why Symbian devices like N8 are very much "Nokia." It will no longer be 100% Nokia if it uses Android or even Windows Phone 7.

sun , 22 Feb 2011can we do equalizer modifing in PR 1.1 update. please reply,, There's a trick. Install "Tunewiki." It's a social Music player app. You can create equalizer with it. The equalizer you created with Tunewiki will also show on the built-in Music player.

I have upgraded to a N8 and have been waiting more than 2 weeks and not receiving the phone. Now another operator told me they are going to discontinue the N8 due to numerous problems experienced by clients returning the phones. And the E7 is going to replace this phone. Does anybody know of something?

Hi.. Bought n8 on sunday... Awsm mob.. But whenever im transferring media files like pictures, videos, music files from another phone via bluetooth they are saved as messages!!!! Transferred around 80 media files n found these files in inbox
its irritating n frustrating to open each file n save. Any suggestions?

The open OS to install many other software is also hard to find. FM transmitter. CAN U NAME A FEW with this????

AnonD-698, 21 Feb 2011nokia showed their stupidity in n8 despite of knowing other companies r now using 1ghz process... morei agree garry but the no those company are not giving the extra processor for graphic. in n8 there is another processor for graphics which evokes when the games or any other graphic related application is run. I agree that the symbian is outdated but the other specs like 12mp autofocus camera with a mechanical shutter and inbuilt 16gb of memory is rare, to add a usb on the go.

hey all m planning to buy a cell that gives me good calrity with camera and music , kindly let me know is N8 is the phone that is user friendly ? is there any problem with the cell like hanging , virus and all those stuffs ? please suggest me a brand with better cell to buy!

@@@@@@@ nokia .... nokia we all know there is n97 and n97 mini ... but this time we need nokia n8 not mini But we need nokia n8 XL .. with 4 inch 512 ram and 1ghz speed .... we need nokia n8 XL .....or make next phone w7p+symbian i mean two OSes in one phone windows 7 phone and symbian ...
