Becool, 13 Feb 2011GUys lets just wait and watch instead of making our own assumptions...i think nokia will never... moreCan not agree more with you , Nokia is not going to kill Symbian ( at least in the near future ) , while MeeGo becomes a on going project .... It's the hardware/build quality that Nokia excels , so it's good for the consumers ( with more options ) at the end .
I really love my Nokia N8 , well built , solid and nicely designed . Regardless all the bugs and painful experience with software in the past 3/4 months , it's getting better and better , the Ovi Map is great to use , also lot's of useful and interesting app. From Ovi Store . I hope the new partnership with Microsoft will only excel ( Symbian is getting old ) , let's hope !
Hi guys, did anyone has problems with Nokia N* Facebook? Its so bad to use, doesnt load properly...Bad. Also, youtube on N8 quality ir really bad as well. How dificult is to make a proper app, I dont understand this??? Also, I still cant get that 1.1 update yet, takes ages somehow...
yad, 12 Feb 2011is it true nokia will be finish symbian OS plz reply thanks in advanceYes, it's official , Nokua will will be using Window Phone 7 platform from 2011.
Anonymous, 13 Feb 2011I agree, if we see Samsung they have various models running their own BADA o.s, WP7 and also A... moreit's not rumor it's official Symbian developers will be fired in the year 2012 thats the reason of the walk out. maybe you should use google for the "graph" presentation of elop the plan is to dump symbian in 2012.
Well i don't mind if Nokia adopt windows phone 7,I'm quite excited actually especially on the gaming side..since i know wp7 has one of best graphics on gaming..but i just hope that Nokia will still keep their promise to give us an update for N8 and the rest of s^3 phone...no matter what happene i will still keep my N8 coz i really love it's camera..and look forward to Nokia 1st windows 7 phone. :)
if nokia scrapped their promised updates to recently announced symbian^3 devices and really plans to get rid of symbian (yeah, ive seen the slides), im shaking hands with the green robot and happily give that OEM and google my hard earned cash! adios nokia... done with you, i guess it's time to move on. (on d back of my head, i STILL hope that this NokiaSoft strategy is just nokia's way to get a strong hold in NAM, "buying time" and perhaps added "source of income" to somehow(?) sustain/maintain/improve symbian OS and develop meeGo further! is that the REAL conspiracy mr. elop and the majority of nokia's board of directors have?!?! oh wow, if i may, in my native language, this partnership could simply mean but dirty just:
using nokia phones since my first mobile phone - 3510. nevertheless, i still hope nokia the best. i will miss the power of SYMBIAN - less show off, but gets the job done
Becool, 13 Feb 2011GUys lets just wait and watch instead of making our own assumptions...i think nokia will never... moreI agree, if we see Samsung they have various models running their own BADA o.s, WP7 and also Android. So does it mean that they will dump BADA, in the future since they have Android and WP7, NO. Nokia is still the world leader in GSM Phones by far distance than their competitors, I am not a Nokia hard core fan, but I like this brand. Think with a open mind, they adopted the OS WP7 to give people more choices, and to get ahead in competition with other O.S in the market. Yes, its all about adoption new and less about dumping the present O.S, So my request to all is please do do not spread rumors, think yourself. In no circumstances Nokia can abandon the present customers, and stop supporting them, because if people stop buying it will be dead.
hey guys plzzz help me.
when i delete songs from my device the music player still shows the album n artists of all the deleted tracks..
and if try 2 delete them then it gives error file corrupted cannot delete..
plzz tel me how 2 delete that.
n8 rockss and guyzz we should now stop thinking about wp7 next year we should enjoy n8 and we should believe that nokia will do something good if they r adopting wp7 then it does'nt mean that nokia has taken wrong decision nokia will make phone according to people choices and demand though till now wp7 is very typical and not very friendly but if nokia is adopting it then nokia will make it friendly and some features r also not supported then don't worry nokia will make wp7 like this that it supports all which supports in symbian..so guyzzz ..
So amazing, till after the 5 month of production, daily interest is still 93%, it has d points of 8.4,8.5 and 8.4 after receiving 166k+ votes. WTF....I am so proud to own this phone. I did see many positive reviews and on facebook page it has 122k+ fans for this phone where no other phone has dat though it is a fan page for Nokia N8 :).
hawx, 13 Feb 2011if they decided to dish symbian 3 they could open the rom for the modders like hyperX im sure ... morethey said that e7 is their priority. WhIch also runs symb3 hence we will surely get support till this year end.

It seems like Nokia is getting taken over by Microsoft.
GUys lets just wait and watch instead of making our own assumptions...i think nokia will never leave symbian support...wats the big deal,,,,even samsung has 3 diff OS in their folio...android,BADA, and windows 7....so y cant Nokia have diff OS in their folio..symbian,Meego, WP7....I THINK ITS GOOD FOR NOKIA AND ITS CUSTOMERS WITH MORE CHOICE
if they decided to dish symbian 3 they could open the rom for the modders like hyperX im sure he will put more features than the tards developer in nokia!
All those guys who r spreading rumors or have no knowledge abt symbian and meego and QT plz read this...http://conversations.nokia.com/2011/02/12/what-is-the-future-of-qt/
I must say that I find the reactions pretty interesting. One day the majority seems to hate symbian and wish for a replacement. But since the announcement most still seem dissatisfied. Is it the choice of w7? Or is it that loyal symbian lovers feel abandoned? This is a major step for Nokia but is it the right one?
