u people worry too much. Jst own ua n8 till end of this year and by that time woteva is being announced now at MWC will be available and if u r lucky u will get a good meego device from intel or someone would have done another incredible thing with the n900

After seeing all phones which are launch in MWC ,I can surely say that nokia n8 stil is the KING OF CAMERA in cell phone industry.

Does anyone pay attention on the screen... ?
1.Look the color of the clock (screen saver), mine have 2(two)colors,dark purple & black.
2. Watch TRON videoclip, the black area it's kinda purple & mosaic. How about u guys ? Somesay it's AMOLED GATE/GLITCH.
Is this a problem..or.. AMOLED "technology" ?
If it's a problem, why does NOKIA dont have any news about it ??

Just checked your product code and your update is " in creation ", which means it will be available very soon.
I'd give it a couple of days.
At least you will get it. There are some in other countries such as Canada and Australia who will not be getting the update.
The network providers are refusing to authorise the update.

there is only 2 ways to bring back nokia symbian os 1st fire elop or convince elop not to ruin symbian completely bcoz there r still much lover users of symbian and if doesn't. 2nd no one should buy nokia mobile in 2012 when they will their first windows mobile...hahaha..so doing this elop will have no choice to bring back symbian with unbelievable features like currently nokia n8 .hahahaha

whatever all of you said about N8 ..i'll be glad to own this handset during a month... guys just feel it happy with any mobile on your hand because there is already in your hand..just exploring and enjoying every features...cheers

I've updated the software on my N8 to PR1.1 but I still can't get push email using Nokia Messaging, I can set up my Gmail account but it will only pull emails.
I Still think there is a problem with Nokia Messaging.

I agree, Elop has potentially ruined Nokia.
However, updates will still be provided for the N8 for at least 12 to 18 months. But thats all. Sadly, new applications and games will be few and far between.
For me though, I'm still happy with my N8 for it's camera, free Sat Nav, excellent video playback capabilities and Nokias internet radio app.

However, it may be possible for developers to... more@ ray yes my friend feeling very bad that phone like n8 did'nt know that this will happen to n8 now i think so its no sense of buying n8 if any user wants only for camera,hdmi,usb-otg,and some hd games , music and want to see movie and want only fair web browsing thats only features r still left for this set but no more applications.elop is so stupid if he adopted wp7 its ok but he should'nt cancel symbian after knowing that n8 has just launched now and for atleast 1 year he should provide updates..this year nokia is gone down very down and i think so no one will buy e-7 too....

However, it may be possible for developers to port applications and games over to WP7 when the new handsets arrive in 2012.
But for the N8, it's not looking good unless Symbian is given to the open source community to develop and work on. Then the N8 might have a bit more life left in it.

Best Press call on your homescreen. Then Type *#0000#. Your product code will be the 7th item down on the list.
