all nokia needed was a change within the company. make the engineers more efficient. hire some good marketers, make some good ties in North America. and keep symbian and meego. now with WP7 they are definetly going to fail. it is so restrictive it is not even funny. trust me i own a zune i would know.

I'm being able to browse in one country (Bangladesh).
But I'm not being able to browse in Afghanistan.
APN setting is OK.

Symbian is like a very old and rich company founder in life support.
It can't die now. We must take care of him for its important role (the head of the company still earns us some money). But we all know there is nothing else we can do, nothing else we will do, and we shall just wait to see it die peacefully and naturally.
Stephen Elop fired the Symbian team, pushed the Microsoft tools and system down Nokia throat, killed Qt on the phone. Microsoft took over Nokia and killed a Linux alternative to phones at the same time (Meego), at least for a while.
Nokia suffered the destiny of Sun: good technology sold to the devil because of irresponsible corporate management.
Well played, Microsoft. Fortunately, I'm happy here on Android! Woot!

Symbian is on a death path now.
Even if Nokia releases a MeeGo phone it's likely not 2 get support in the long-run.
I was 1 strong Nokia fan but after yesterday I had 2 jump 2 another boat - Intel.Intel is my only option now and they have re-assured us of their commitment 2 MeeGo,and are having many big players like BMW,AMD.
RIP Nokia & Microsoft.
I'll be get my next phone from Intel with Medfield SoC running MeeGo.

hey ive been unsin fring for makin video calls over wifi..all of a sudden im not able to make video calls and it shows "u need to be connected to wifi or 3g to make video calls" i am still using the same wifi connection, any suggestions??

XX, 12 Feb 2011So does it mean that all these people who spend quiet lot of money to buy this high end handse... moreHow are they going to continue developing for S^3 when Elop fires those people who walked out yesterday? Those people who walked out are the people who works directly for Symbian. It will be amazing if they will keep the 50+ updates on features they promised but I'm not counting on it. S^3 is a dead OS walking and it's only a matter of time before the N8s price devaluates. Blame the great trojan for that.
S40 will be kept alive for featurephones though.

heyyy its official now.... symbian will be killed...specially afer symbian^3 was a big failiure...nokia will encorporate windows mobile...within 3yrs there will be no support 4 symbian.. better think before buying nokia nw.....i ws thinking to buy n8 bt nw i will buy xpreia arc..its rocking n android is the genX's OS.

Hey guys I am using n8. I herd it can be upgarded to to symbian^4 and . and now also hearing that it can be upgraded to WP7. about a moth ago i saw n900 upgraded to android 2.3........?
So what should i expect for my n8. Symbian^4,WP7 or android........?
