I dont like windows7 is not friendly user, if nokia will drop symbian im decided to switch to samsung...byebye Nokia WindowsOS.... grr

Nokia just sent usthe details abouttheir long-awaitedstrategy shift, and itis a bombshell. Theembattled number one cell phone manufacturer is adopting, wait for it...Windows Phone as its primarysmartphone platform. Symbian is not going away, there willbe legacy support for the 200 millionSymbian smartphones, and Nokiaintends to ship at least 150 millionmore Symbian handsets until thetransition fully takes place. As for MeeGo, Nokia will keep it a anopen-source mobile platform to tweakand experiment with, and there will beat least one device with the platformouted by the end of the year.

rdca, 11 Feb 2011i dont believe nokia symbian will be dropout, nokia continues symbian 50plus enhancement, meeg... moregood luck kabayan! same goes to nokia and symbian's fate tomorrow.. i hope nokia could still continue support symbian^3 devices lyk N8 whatever happens. waiting for the 50+ updates

[deleted post]A WP7 device?? They will going down continually if they will make WP7 phones, I really hate that OS! I mean the UI! It is UGLY! The Main Menu is so ugly, and I know what I am talking about, because I kept a WP7 phone in my hands. If they will change the Menu, maybe that I will like this OS. :)

AnonD-570, 10 Feb 2011after new update anybody having problems??? my N8 was perfect b4 updating...never hung up on m... moreI fully agree with u. I was very happy with my N8 for three months. I read reviews and to improve performance updated it ,and ever since speed has improve but new problems of hanging/restart have started. Previously(now also) it restarted only on using speed dial.web browser takes much longer to start & load pages
Can anyone help me on how to use internet radio Soundtrckr. Appears a nice application but i am not able to use it.
Even with these problems I luv my N8.
One suggestion: donot upgrade if your phone is working allright.

shallow space bar, 08 Feb 2011dude calm down...its one of those things which u dont notice on ur own but once u have been to... morei love my n8, and ill go to ncc megamall to chck my screen, assistn they say it forwarded to main nokia makati, said will be follow-up for 7days how my n8 repairstatus. i hope my n8 will replce a new n8 w/o any gradient amoled defective.
