Wow!! wow!! wow!!I got my N8 yesterday . Its an amzing smart phone.I can sacrify 5 Iphone for this Super N8 coz Its an super alrounder phone.

AnonD-976, 07 Feb 2011what the heck is this? with every passing day,i find some issue with N8. As like many my N8 ... morePal, Try to set up the mail by declining the terms of service to nokia messaging. It's not gonna be push mail put will work almost the same way.

Ray Hipkiss, 07 Feb 2011@GS. You need to uninstall v6.02 of quick office, then the updated 6.04 can then be installed.Thanks for the good advise. It works now! Btw how did you know? And why does Nokia make us sail through unchartered waters? It should have prompted me to do what you have pointed out.

ui, 07 Feb 2011if your buying a phone just for the camera.. then why not buy a more advance camera with great... morebecause some people want an all in one device, and its way better to carry a mobile camera around than a big bulky camera and hey you still get great shots with this camera phone infact really outstanding photos I have ever seen from a mobile camera!

As like many my N8 ... morehello. i have my nokia n8, but it doesnt hav any problems .. it all worked fine, no stress. i think you should go to nokia service center to have it checked. go make your complaints there. im not protecting nokia , i just wanted you to know that there's this thing called "1year service warranty" that you can avail .

pr 1.1 does improve overall user experience!! apps now open faster and overall responsiveness is better. Landscape dialer and pinch to zoom in quickoffice are nice additions and browser now loads faster!, kinda gives a nice feeling when using it, placebo effect? overall nice update

what the heck is this?
with every passing day,i find some issue with N8.
As like many my N8 also got display issue(dark color it's displaying is little purplish)
The latest problem i have is everytime i connent my N8 to Ovi-suite, after some time my phone freezes..
The only way to get it work again is i have to restart my phone...all this happening since i updated my ovi-suite.
what can be done to this?
today i downloaded PR 1.1 and thought that at least this time push mail will work....three months since i bought it but push mail not working for me.....everytime i try to setup mailbox,after few steps and setups it says service temorarily unavailable....m helpless don't know what to do!!!
My network carrier is Idea and in delhi..
so,can it be fixed?
Another problem i have it is my headset remote doesn't work sometime. Phone doesn't recognize the controls on headset...to make it work i have to pull out and put in again n again,finally it works...
It's quite irritating that phone fails to recognize it's original headset at times....
Guys plzzz help...
Stop defending NOKIA and be practical.N8 is a gr8 piece of device but in the hand of bad Company...

It is obvious that Nokia is using 2 different screens for the N8 and C7. The cheaper one has the purple tint and the good one has no issues. Funny thing, they charge the same price for both.

GS, 07 Feb 2011Have gone in for the update in the N8. However editing option in Quickoffice has still not bee... more@GS. You need to uninstall v6.02 of quick office, then the updated 6.04 can then be installed.

got pr 1.1 this morning, EU product code. The phone is faster, and very stable. Browser is quicker, screen rotation is quicker.. new free quick office upgrade. very well done Nokia, thanks.
nothing on the camera front, I guess we will have to wait until pr 2.0 for that one

varun, 07 Feb 2011i would prefer n8 over iphones ,but as far if you won't have any of expense problems you can o... moreif your buying a phone just for the camera.. then why not buy a more advance camera with greater macro...hmmm
