At first when I saw N8 via surfing the web I thought Symbian 3 is as slow as Symbian S60 5th edition, poor graphical UI and has no match with the Galaxy S, but when I hold & operate it personally, I was wrong, N8 made a lot of satisfying improvements!!! Nokia & Symbian your on the right tract, just keep on improving you have the chance to win on the market. I really love the phone. Hope to receive more software updates & upgrades soon!

AnonD-698, 07 Feb 2011can n8 be considered as business mobile or just multimedia and entertainment... well it just got ability to edit word documents with the firmware update..but since it does not have a hardware qwerty keypad(usually considered useful for business models), i'd say it is a great multimedia phone with business capabilities added to make it even more worth it

im currently downloading pr 1.1.. yeah i have purple color too.. but i think its the software has a problem because the more the brightness increases you wil not able to notice the purple color.. but in dim i really notice the colors its different.. i hope nokia will fix this problem.. its the light sensors software should be updated.. n8 will really rock my world if it had portrait keybord and multi touch on landscape qwerty bord.. hahaha as of now im enjoying my n8 mucic.. camera.. video.. web browsing.. the camera is outstanding i do not need anymore photo editing because shots of n8 is really fantastic.. though the camera interface is outdated.. still it depends upon the user.. im addict in taking photo wahahahhha

Just get the N8...Why?
For a few bucks more, you can get the top N8 as it's the top cell of Nokia.
Before I has the N8, I was thinking on the C7...as I like the design...but the 12 mp camera convince me...

Anonymous, 07 Feb 2011Guys i have removed the plastic cover which we get with N8 on the screen... do i need to put a... moreScreen is pretty scratch proof, but if you want to be 100% safe get zaggs invisible shield for it! I spent most of Saturday night drunkely dropping it all over my hometown and the screen is fine!
I love this phone. Spent a whole day sorting it out yesterday but now have £100's of games and apps on it (which I got for free - why I love Symbian!!) and have customised startup and shutdown animations with sounds, and with modding it is now faster along with other improvements. Amazing phone!!!

after x1o upgrade i really like it's function..
hope that n8 can upgrade to more functionable :)
i realy like x10 and iphone that slide to unlocked's function :(

Guys i have removed the plastic cover which we get with N8 on the screen... do i need to put a scratch guard on it....or i can keep it just like this....i m not sure whether the screen will look nice.....i really want my screen to look nice all the time..even after 6 months of use.....please suggest....
P.S. mine is Green color......
one more thing when i went to buy the mobile phone..lady there was surprized seeing me opting for a green one..according to her tht color is suited for ladies....i was taken aback for a while..but then i decided to go with the color which i had liked.....i wanted something different this time wrt colors.....i m loving my green N8.....
