Ramo, 30 Jan 2011i have a problem with my N8!!!its hanged!can u help me?Has it froze? If so it is recommended to take it back to Nokia, DO NOT UNSCREW ANYTHING OR YOUR warranty will void.
If just keeps freezing, give it a factory rest and it will just do it.

This phone is such ugly and the simbyan os is not best in class. 600 mhz cpu is not worth to buy it.
Also the camera is 12mp but it captures low quality pictures. I dont know why nokia phones have problem in dark situation.
im not interested in this phone.
I don't know why people all around the world buying this phone.

akhi, 30 Jan 2011i js bought my n8...my earphones r giving some wierd sounds is d pbm wid ear phones r d mbl???... moredud i had same problem . You just push your headphone pointer into mobile headphone socket forcefully. u will hear sound when it will get fixed into socket.

finall i bought nokia n8-00,(finland made),i cant use the social network app(facebook,twitter) in home screen,if i edit the homescreen..all other widgets are shown except social network..am really eager to know my facebook updates in ma nokia n8 home screen..guys plz tell me..how to insert social network app in home screen..reply me...

Honestly? Don't read to much into all the recent doomsday on Nokia. Why? Because its not new. They've been saying about Nokia's fall for years. In fact I'm one of those that did forsee Nokia dying. In my opinion, 3 mistakes. 1) Very very very late rollout of their touch platform. 2) Convolute Symbian development roadmap. 3) Canceling Maemo.
So as you can see those mistakes weren't recent and therefore the naysayers have been having a go at Nokia for years. But here we are, declining profits, smaller market share and still shipping more phones and still the leader. And these supposedly "professional" commentators never factor in the Elop and America factor into today's Nokia. Only repeating the mistakes of the past.

why? Because N8 it really work fast and smooth responsive. its loading fast except default browser but will upgrade soon html5 high speed browser...
For Me Graphics of N8 is 101% perfect and awesome when playing HD games
Default Resolution Yes not so good as 100% But if you install the mode v4.0 resolution and pixel look nice look like superAmoled...

1. Remove the plastic covering camera glass
2. In application>sw update install all updates
3. Enjoy your n8

Anonymous, 30 Jan 2011which mobile is better. nokia n8/sony ericsson satio/samsung galaxy swell even from gsm arena blind test N8 stands first followed by Sony DXT, and Samsung Pixon 12, don't count Satio as it is nowhere near N8 camera LOL...

Lu... morefinally! i'm proud to say that i am now an owner of the great n8! just bought it a few hours ago. and i followed what you said about checking the numbers, and they matched. got mine in green too. thanks so much friend. hope you could still give suggestions and advises for a new n8 user like me here in gsm arena. thanks again aaron, really appreciate it.
