I've been using N8 for about two months. . yes, of course ! it supports many important apps . . .such as opera mobile web browser , UC browser, Viber , Whatsapp. . .its pictures quality is really good even i make a photo in low light place ( without using flash) . .i believe in Nokia quality that is why i bought this one ( 12 mega pixels camera smart phone !).
Its voice quality , battery back up and signal strengh are also good. . especially its size and weight is comfortable for me to keep it in my pocket while travelling . .
The good point is : i always keep its pictures in my tablet ( its images quality are so good when i see it in pc or tablet). Thanks again Nokia :)

you can do anything in this phone it is great but in android you can always carry with your battery charger update your n8 cheers friends

Hello, good day. Im using Nokia 701 another good handset aside from Nokia N8 and Nokia 808. Things are good in this phone. Simple yet elegant thats how can I explain it. Lagdroid dont had any chance to overcome symbian. Because symbian is for people who satisfies a customer like me :)
symbian support some good apps: skype, wechat, viber, whatsapp, opera mini, opera mobile, molome, photo browser, uc browser, andromenu, fb browser, tweetian, danger dash, bejewelled.
Nokia build a better phone, a better hardware and a better os, thats symbian forever to loved and beloved :)

Nokia Belle FP1 is Carla, Nokia belle FP2 is Donna and the last Symbian firmware update there will be. Nokia N8 has Nokia Belle Refresh which is a light version of FP1. There will be no more firmware updates for N8.

brianxx9xx, 11 Nov 2013can we install codec to N8 so we can play other formats?Sorry, but there is no known developer to do this for symbian. So what n8 can decode is all you can have. I don't know if there is a player that brings other codecs, but i doubt it. I would have heard of that player:D

Then you will need a pach for it. You can find it here: www.nokia-call-recorder.com/ . This is their official site. You will find some info about the app there and if you scroll down right after compatibility you can see two download links for patches. Download the right one for your phone. Ghat's about it. Enjoy.

Hey guys, i want a call recording app which does not have a beep sound in it. Which one Shall i download ?? As i tried most of it But stil the beep sound is heard to me as well as to the other party. Plz help.

Left button (short/long): task manager/App Stop
Right: battery level/Close All Apps
Swipe left: menu
Swipe right: task manager
Swipe up left: QuickRotate (I don't need auto rotation except sometimes in Gallery or when typing)
Swipe up right: music volume
I just added the "grey" status pane button (on menu only) with vLight/brightness but I'll have to see if it bothers me in normal use as I can't drag the notification bar from that part. Maybe he should add some "torch" like jBak Taskman had, just white screen at 100% brightnes and no gimmicks. And a LED torch for phones that have one. But even like this, Belle Extra Buttons replaces 20 other apps.:-D

N8 dosn't support Live wallpaper,small screen, pathentic keyword, dull OS,little bit of sound,no video tone,this toy phone also get hange due to low ram, wrost profermenc, many times also call get disconnect by touching of ear, limited application,pathentic OVI Store,video player get stop after playing one song, galary not working properly when haveing more then 500 picture,poor responce in multitasking,no video light, flash player not working with any 3rd party browser,lagging on zooming when record HD video..SAR VALUE is SAR US 1.09 W/kg (head) 0.85 W/kg (body)
SAR EU 1.02 W/kg (head)....its very dengerious for health even i don't know why people are using this type of harmfull devices....
I havn't find any single resone to buy this handset..never buy this phone this is tolally wrost of money..and who is alredy purchesed this toy phone then try to swap any other handset... Health is wealth...now choice is yours.....
