I think I got one difficult for u m8s!
How can I get my contacts from gmail and synchronize them with my N8?
tried to export them from gmail and import to ovi pc suite but couldn't make it happen :(
any tips plzzzz....

rdca, 15 Jan 2011watch this PR 1.1 nothing changes i do not know if its major update or update to fixed bugg... morewad is 3rd party apps? can gif example? but b4 this happen happen i can last 5 days but now it seems like i need to charge it everyday...i nvr use wlan b4 and open apps... wad happen help me!! and it doesnt blackout when i not using it..it keep show the home screen while the i lock the phone...help man

Anonymous, 15 Jan 2011where is the new browser on pr 1.1 or 2.0 . When will be realised pr 2.0if the test version of pr1 is the real pr1 then there is no new browser, no extra homescreen

yes I can, 14 Jan 2011I have been speaking at length today to the nokia press office , who simply said that they hav... morenever knew u were a debate winner... wouldnt have wasted my time on u... coz debaters like u can never undersatnd what technology is with ur so called qualifications to back u up!!! do u have any idea that pr 1.1 is available through navifirm for hacked firmwares?? so the official will be released very soon.. so we were not that wrong... n again by the way this is not a debate forum.. u may have enough time to show off ur skills of debating but unfortunately this is not a debate forum.. this is n8 forum where we can assist others bash bashers n humiliate "frustus" like u... we r here to immediately share some useful news on n8 that we get.. google it out u can find out we get info from there... its nothing to make up... dont prove urself to so much illiterate by talking so much crap... basically whats the need of u here?? have u ever shared something useful?? a big NO!!! n i can ask few questions about n8 which will definetely prove how much of an n8 u own!!! so better not mess with genuine n8 users

Hey. I am enjoying my N8 for about 1 and a half month. it is really excellent. I have the blue one. I dont know why the N8s here in the Philippines cost differently. based on colors. The blue one is the most expensive one. The black and the silver are the cheap ones. Anyway, Im so excited for the release of P.R. 2.0
I guess it will have the better browser, portrait qwerty, split screen, better gallery, more hd games( oh the apps in ovi store are growing, i mean more useful apps), landscape dialer, search for music, cached web pages with forward and backward buttons, configuration of view for functions,(grid and list), navigation using address from contact book, Bug fixes: WLAN search, the functionality of not saving the message for SMS, keyboard, pdates for email box, camera, homescreen, animation effects…

I like the new version with its pinch zoom and so on but I could not find a compatible map of Jamaica. So did the latest update really work for you? If so how?

1.)i think your gps is always open. disable all setting-application-postion method unchecked all if you not use your gps any time..
2.) offline widget menu-offline widgets
3.) set Wlan only
4.) Checked you 3rd party apps there's 3rd apps always open on your device or delete all 3rd party apps includind HI socially its automatic open on your device even see close applcation but app its produce heating on my device, so i delete all my 3rd party app, not 3rd party games...
The app with no problems to my device is
Friendchat,Nimbuzz,opera mini 10.1,battery monitoring,accurate weather
So if you want installed 3rd party apps i advice you installed in one by one observe first you installed another 3rd party app if there something buggs just delete immediately, do not installed and installed 3rd party apps..

among the mobiles i had used nokia n8 is the best... it is the latest and modelled phone.
