But does the gps work here in the Philippines?Yes update first the ovi maps of the phillippines using ovi suite, or download all country you want to add to your device,, To avoid Any Extra charge load to your network are you using its better to disable all connection Except the Integraded GPS, How? Go to setting Application+Position method-disable all network except the integraded GPS....

1.It doesn't play all types of WMA aud... moredude try this
menu > settings > connectivity > settings > destinations > add whatever lan it is > option > advance settings > add the proxy and port (to check it connect to wifi via your laptop check the wifi status then details you will get the proxy and the port there.
that's what I do to mine

anyone know how to off the auto connect to the sim internet access? damn it sucks my load. =[[

I had this for a month and replaced it as DOA twice. It freezes up and because the user can't take the battery out, only option is to smash it. Wifi connectivity is very much erratic and limited to one room. Camera and GPS are great. But, do you want a phone or a camera? Nokia should try to improve on what they are good at, rather than trying to emulate Apple and others.
