hello, to the person( mZxh), you say that you buy a 1gb card and the speed of the phone is more faster???
to marlon: yes it support msn messenger u need a third party application like agile messenger to use it still.

hello there guys...umm... i wanna get this phone badlyy...but i wanted to ask the users of the N80... is the menu and gallery slow??
is it actually slow... cuz my friends told me it's very slow... so plz help me.. thank you..
Also if any of u want apps (like msn for u below me) just send me an email telling me what apps ud like, if i aint got them tho u cant have them, i will reply within 24 hours, iv got around 50 s60 v3 apps, my email is email@example.com also iv got 30 flash games and around 20 sis/java, dnt take the mik tho just ask for what u need!
*if any of u r having minor probs* like the txt message bug etc, bak up ur contacts etc (dnt use the backup to mem card option tho, copy them down) then in standby mode enter *#7370# (make sure u got half or more battery life), this will format the fones internal drive and the lil probs shud go, try it and i bet it works for sum, if not all ov u! Wen i get a new s60 a format is the first thing i do and iv never had any probs with my fones!
where r the already pre installed tones of the phone (the true and polyphonic tones)?
To All N80 phone holders!! I have this phone for one month + now and take my word that the following improvements are worth considering.
First of all, I was a bit frustrated with the slow functionality of the operating system and the menus. Second the device crashed almost everyday (only 80MB used on the memory card). Third, the slider was a bit wobbly and the battery cover was squicking.
1) Upgraded to a 1GB memory Card and the speed of the OS and menus has doubled . The daily crashes are now history.
Total Cost 35 Pounds
2) Purchased a black duck tape and placed it on the back of the phone with the slider open (No one has ever noticed don't worry). This increased the friction of the slider mechanism, having an end result a more strong slider mechanism (like the samsung D600 phone). Applied also inside the battery compartment and the cover does not squick anymore.
Total Cost 50p
The next move is to update the firmware to a newest version when available from the Nokia Stores.
