I just got my N80. Its beautiful. However, there seems to be a slight problem with it. I cannot zoom 800% 3MP shots. The phone tells me I'm out of memory and tels me to deleate or clear apps and files. Thing is I have 100 plus free MB on the card and 30 plus free MB on the phone and no apps are running in the background. Any solution would be appreciated. Thanks
just to let all you o2 ppl , they now have a price on the phone as an uprgrade, but still not out till 5th of june, but atleast u know if its worth waiting fro or going to orange who offer it for 49 quid, im gonna wait anyways
I'm from Finland and I just got this phone and it's marvellous!
The display is very functional, even if it's small but thanks to its great resolution it is very usable.
And the new Nokia Web browser is a hit! It works very well, now I can surf the ordinary web pages with it, search information, handle my web-bank with it, read and send mails via wlan for free.
And camera and video functionality is great, the camera with 3.2 megapixels is now adequate for taking real pictures.
All the functions in this smart phone are very good designed and software is very good. There's great usability, they have really thinked in Nokia how to put things work well!
And this phone has worked very well in open wlans and allso with secured wlans, I have tested those in city coffees and several places here in Finland, at home and at office places. That new Nokia Web Browser is very quick and workd fine and it's very easy to use with the fine display of this phone. With the big resolution it's easy to surf and see pages.
And I'm going now to a big consert here in Finland, Helsinki to celebrate our victory in European Eurovision song contest, we won it this year and my new Nokia N80 is ready to take celebrity pics and videos - I just bought 2 gb miniSD-memorycard for that ( : Those are quite cheap here, only 60-70 euros.
lovely phone, got my black one this week. only prob is the poor slider lock when closed. in my pocket its easy for it to open and unlock :-(
But thats minor. packed with features. best phone on the market today :-)
It is a 3.2MP camera, if u look at the pixelation of the images it takes. Nokia have just labelled it on the phone as being only 3MP.
is it 3 megapixel or 3.2 meg??
this site says 3.2 but others say 3??
Hi everybody! Im from Malaysia, just bought my N80 last 2 weeks from Singapore, because Malaysia short of stock, even in Singapore.
Anyway, got a question here, i downloaded a song in .aac format from PC, but it play no sound in my N80 even in PC Suite, why? Mp3 was working very fine..

my dad will purchase this phone for me, do you think it is suitabe for a student?
i have small hands, i read from the reviews that the phone is quite big. so i'm having second thoughts.
should i buy this phone?
All of the N80's that I have found for sale are Asia/Pacific sourced. Where can I find one UK sourced so that all of the software/instructions are in English?
I got my n80 two days ago and its amazing! way better than any phone available in the states. the stabilization feature kind of messes up the video, but everything else is great! by the way, i'm writing this on my n80 right now!!!
I want to know if there is any gsm pda that can be used for online banking. Thanks
in the UK u can get n80 on vodafone aswel as orange! my key pad tones r off and my shuter dnt make a sound! it has 4 settings but no off but disabling the key pad has workd 4 me!
Just received my n80. While placing the sim in the spring holder, the holder came loose. I snapped the bracket back into the holes. The problem is, the battery, when installed, will not press the sim holder down far enough to make a proper connection. When I place a small piece of paper on top of the bracket, then install the battery, connection is made no prob. Has anyone else had this issue?
Has any1 got a converted MP$ video (ie a whole film) onto the N80, if so what software did you use to create the MP4? Ive tried a few (ImToo, Nero 7 Recode, ATI Catalyst AVIVO) and no of the files work? when i select a file it opens Real Player and then just freezes on that screen, common prob or just my duff N80?
