Has anyone got the N80 from oranage - if yes have you faced any problems with it? And guys how is the video is it like n70 or worse !?? In the review it seems fine.
Have been using for a week, the body seem to be a little loose after open and closing of the body. Hang 3 to 4 time a week. Why cant nokia come out with phone that can match the quality of samsung or SonyE. Only think about profit. In my country, nokia service center is always crowded with people.
Mistake below from me, Good Phone but not well polish is what i mean. VERY disappointed with the built quality of the phone and charging such a high price.
N80 is a great phone but the issue here is it is still very buggy. Always hang for my set. Really disappointed with nokia, good phone but well polish.
Can the battery life increase with a Higher Capacity Li-Ion Battery?
I got it as an upgrade - still had to pay £118 for it tho! :-S
Call charges/free minutes etc are as per vodafone standard offers.
i got nokia 6280 1 month and a half ago but i love this phone, what should i do????
hey zeeko how much was the contract you got the N80 for. and what ype of contract was it. thanks mate.
Picked up my N80 on Monday from Vodafone store and have been playing with it for 2 days now. What an awesome phone! Have been loyal to SE for years because they've had superior phones for the last 3-4 years. This phone has definitely tipped the balance in Nokia's favour!
Here's my thoughts so far:
* Wi-fi: really easy to use and configure WLans.
* Web Browser: Absolutely awesome! Nokia have done a top job in putting this piece of software together - browsing websites is dreamy dreamy.
* Camera: Taken some good shots so far though need to put it a bit more through it's paces. It does take take that little bit too long to fire up the camera software though. haven't taken any video shots yet (so many other features to try out yet!)
* Music player: Big improvement from the last nokia attempt at doing this. Really easy to transfer files and playlists etc.
* Size/looks: considering it's dimensions, it still looks and feels really compact and fits into my pocket no probs.
UI: Quite intuitive menu/application access - takes a little getting used to after years of using SEs but I found it much better than old nokia menus! Did however think that it was a tiny bit slow at responsiveness to key presses though.
Software/apps: Plenty of built-in stuff but looking forward to installing some decent series 60 v3 apps when they become available (bring on skype, good IM clients and the like!!)
Battery: been using it for 2 days now with plenty of 3g and wi-fi access and by my reckoning the battery will go flat sometime this evening - so it's not brilliant but it's not bad either.
oh yeah, not sure if anyone's mentioned this yet but there's an offline/flight mode on the phone ..was really hoping this would be featured!
Accordingly to a mobile magazine here in sweden...N80s battery life is not good nor is it bad..the battery was actually a bit better than the specifications says...N91 on the other hand, has a poor battery...
I was excited about this phone and then I see the battery life. Again it is poor and nokia needs to address this issue.
I wanna get a phone, n i'm really indecisive between the N91 & N8!
I love music bt i also love good camera & screen resolution.
Obviously, the only difference between these 2 devices is the hard disk! other than that the N80 is better (in terms of cam n resolution). I dunno anything bout the music quality in N80. So plz N80 users/fans could u help me.
Thanx in advance.
it's cool features amaized me
some day i'll buy it
but i don't this that day will be in near future!!!
i am now holding my very own black nokia n80 in my hands. i got it for 49,000 philippine pesos. 50 pesos is around 1 us dollar, you just do the math. it's not that big... it's just right.. i'm loving it so far... but i have a question, when i was done transferring data from my pc to my cell thru usb, i just removed the cord, and some data was lost. it said i needed to eject it first, but how do i do that, and it's not stated in the manual.
the difference with the bluetooth is the speed.
P.s> why can't people type so you read it...
Sounding out the words is something i gave up in year2.......
SE has a good camera, good sound and good video than Nokia.....
if u wanna phone with extra features go for NOKIA...if u wanna a give importance to multimedia and camera video first then go for SE...
1.lot of features with almost dead battery...
2.poor video which should not be there with a high resolution camera.
3.lower version of blue tooth than what was mentioned in the specifictations...
knowing that nokia never does what they say...decide for ur self now..
I got 1 frenz ardy buy it...but haven't use it over 1 week den it broke...aiyoyo...Name:Liaw Shing Ginn..
