HEY! guess what!? i jez bought my own nokia n80 (pearl black!!)yesterday (11/5/06) ... its kinda xpensive here in Brunei ... i bought it for BND$1070 ... but as long as it is below $1100... i will buy!! hehe... the picture taken is fantastic but the video... hmm... the max setting is not really great either but who cares... at least the picture is better.. im not buying it for vdeo camera.. hehe.. and using vdeo will cost me much memory... only that the problem + previous software canot be installed ... however.. java applications and "selected themes" can still be installed... i rated 90% for now for this phone!! -Chow- phew... ITS LIKE A DREAM CAME TRUE!!! :)
Thank you, I have just got one from Orange too. I worked out that it is only £350 including linerental and phone and you get 2000 inc mins and 100 texts for that!
Brilliant heads up that one!
Also you can reduce you package after 6 months so may be less!!!
can anyone from singapore or anywhere tell me u would prefer n80 or the up coming n73?
I think sheikh was probably lying that he seen the N80 for $550, i think thats impossible at this time.
reply back if u find smth.
hey where did u find it for $620? i was interesting in buying the phone but 799 semt too expensive. could you email the link/site to me please. it would be appreciated. thanks!
If I bought one of those bluetooth/IR keyboard for PDA's and Pocket PC's, would it be compatible , considering the n80's got a tiny thumbboard......
Wise decision and Good Choice buying N80.
Similiarly, I bgt my N80 from Nokia Shop at 1030. I suppose shop outside should be cheaper than Nokia Shop. The camera is superb but the video some disappointments.
Perhaps, you can try to capture some video indoor maybe at home. Mine the pictures not clear and noises but outdoor daytime perfect.
Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks

Oh, when I said 'I would have preferred the chrome to have been matt aluminium'. I was talking about the chrom parts on the black N80
I so want to personalise mine anyone tried imported themes, please post web sites and comments.
Anyone know if one can have a tone for opening and closing slider?
What is the Blue flashing light near the N80 designation supposed to signify, have I left something on that I shouldn’t have?
1Gb card on its way from Moby memory and cool shoulder holster and I am set, seeeeeeeeee ya!
It is not the size one perceives it to be listening to some comments on this forum. So far it I find it normal Nokia fair and I come from 6230 (not ‘i’) that I bought on release way back and at the time it was the beez.
I am having to get used to the slider but learning curve aside as I said standard nokia fair. I did not use all the 6230 functionality and I doubt my experience with N80 will be different. We buy these top specked products and tend to be pleased not to have to think about it for a while, we enjoy the novelty then it is back to business, Fingers crossed you get a good one that lasts, fingers crossed.
My opinion is that this phone, in the flesh looks like it means business, is cool, sophisticated…. In black anyway, I would have preferred the chrome to have been matt aluminium. Only time will tell re wear but at the moment I am extremely pleased with the aesthetic of this phone.
Nexus > www.e2save.com they have it on O2 on contract i have mine, also u get the phone unlocked :D.
i got mien from there
