how will u connect ur N80 to ur TV using WLAN?
Can someone tell me if the battery life of this phone is good or terrible ?
That's right, the N83 (might not be called N83, names, specifications are all speculated) is still a rumour, but still you can see the "Nokia" logo at the back of the phone. You can refer to mobile-review forums, under the 'rumour' sub-forum, where there's a discussion about this new phone or concept design or w/e it is.
Hi all, just check this pic out..
The N83 DOES not even exist.
Do a google search if you dont beleive me - there is NOTHING about it.
That website posted below is a wind up. The phone pictured is so OBVIOUSLY a CONCEPT design.
Now call me sceptical, but if you really dont beleive me, could someone please point out where the NOKIA logo is on the pictures of the "N83" in the link below????
If the N83 really did exist and really was coming out next yr in janary, it would at least have a finished "dummy" phone available. Not to mention BLURRED photos and the fact this is the ONLY website on the net that has those pictures, its a BLOG and all of the best/most well sourced mobile websites HAVENT even mentioned it yet.
Horsesh*t. And as someone has already said - stop waiting for the next model - you'll end up never buying a new phone...
Autofocus is that controlled by software or the hardware. because if it was software we could get a upgrade ;)
Just spoke to O2 this morning and they claim that the N80 will not be available untill atleast the last few days in May.
Iv got to admit the spec of the phone is incredible but how long do they expect us to wait its Ridiculous, i as many others, are starting to consider other options for a new mobile.
Does anybody know what price the phone will be on contract? Thanks
ps-I held an N80 next to a 6280 yesterday and there are only marginal differences in the thickness of these mobiles so cant see the thickness being as much of a problem as everyones making out!
until n83 finally arrive, you will start to consider again, wanting to get n84,n85,n86,n87,n88 instead. Maybe until then, 10" touchscreen, 10MP CCD CZ, 10GB micro HDD, Dualband WCDMA, DVB-H, Wifi 11n, battery talk time 10hrs, ... And best everything just paper THICKNESS. So, it will be a forever waiting game.
to be honest those who like the n80 should get it if they do, no point holding out for like the n83 or what ever its called as it will take like a year for it to be released. as did this n80. so when u say u will hold out.. gona be a long wait..when u could get a phone like the n80 and then upgrade at the right time to the n83
N83 is coming out 1st quarter 2007. Any phone next to N83 is a joke! 5MP CZ, MicroSD, quadband, same resolution but with 2.5' screen, 4GB INTERNAL.... 3.5mm Audio jack!....
Won't there be any N81 or N82 before N83 comes. Coz this is how it goes right? 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9........
Anyone seen the leaked pics of the N83 yet? The specs are UNBELIEVEABLE. Forget the N80, I'm holding out.
I just bought the Nokia N-80 but be aware that you can't get insurance on it from your carrier if you lose it and Nokia USA will not honor the warranty either because the phone has not been offically released here.
It is the European version which should work fine but if you need warranty work it must go back to a European address and be fixed in Europe. It isn't likely that will happen but you should know that before buying.
I will know by tomorrow how well it works with Cingular and be gald to post some updates. I purchased it from a dealer in NY.
I have a question. How can I use upnp to my TV and witch devise may I use for it. and the same question for the WiFi.
This was a smart post below, and let me add that I have had 2 Razr phones and while they look great and are as thin as can be, the sound quality is terrible!
Just a couple of thoughts as I plow through this discussion group on the Nokia N80. First, 26mm is not really that thick for a cellphone, especially a smartphone. I've had a Samsung sph i500 clamshell smartphone for a couple of years and it is 25mm thin....its always in my back pocket, small easy to carry. Compared to a Razr...everything is thick these days. Second, I see a lot of comaprisons to other phones on this group that are not smartphones and it seems to me there is NO comparison possible. For anyone that is a smartphone user, having a phone you can program and add apllications to is one thing. Any phone without this capability is just not included in any kind of comparing at all. Oh yeah, all this was IMO....
