when do u expect the price to drop?
- after 1 week
- after 1 month
- after 3 months
Generally nokia cell rates decrease after 3 months and after 6 months, they come down heavily.
But N80 and N91 are priced so high, this is new. The price might even drop to 60% within a fortnight or so.
Guys, congratulations, this phone is finally available! And it is only $1000! =)
ha ha ha, sh!t, at least it is a bit cheaper than n91......
Lets wait till the price goes down or something....
Nokia N80 Quadband 3G Phone (Factory Unlocked) is available now in www.plemix.com
Please see http://plemix.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=11078&Category_Code=NOK
Why is the price so high?
It was expected to be around $600 in many reviews.
Will the price drop? In how many months can we expect a descent price of this phone?
$1000 is too much. An IBM ThinkPad will come at the price.
Nokia N80 is available. On www.europe.nokia.com there isn't COMING SOON advertisment.
Please Nokia, when, will this phone come out.... I can't stand the wait!
Erm... Sim free this Michelle McManus of a phone will set you back around £620.
Dont expect a price drop til around mid to end of summer.
And if you would like to see for yourself how much this phone will cost on contract - then check out "ex*pansys" and search for the N80.
Also note that NOKIA UK have already told me that the N80 will be released on Vodafone FIRST, so i would assume the price/tariffs found in the above link are pretty accurate.
However, considering how Vodafone is the worlds biggest rip-off telecoms service you could use, i would at least wait until it is avialable on a better network that doesnt enjoy robbing its customers. You'd hav to be pretty strupid to go with sh**ty vodafone in the first place anyway.
Lets just hope there are some good online deals for this phone by mid-may, otherwise if it is £400 on a £30 p/m contract, i cant see many of the desperate people waiting on this phone actually buying it....
i thought £400 was for handset only..cant be on 30 quid contract!! praying that vodafone releases the n80 on the 26th or at least first week of may.
Fock me, but dirty rumours flying around suggest this phone will cost £400 on a monthly contract of £30.
If you like the idea of a £75 p/m contract for EIGHTEEN months, then the phone is ONLY a ridiculous £140!
If its that much, no thankyou, i'll stick my 1970s 6680 thankyou.
This phone will be released to the UK on the 26th April. (official released date)
www.Expan*sys.com will have it in stock then. Vodafone and other online sites will probably also be getting stock of the N80 on the 26th April.
It really depends on what you want to get out of the fone. 6280 in a way is similar to N80 but without some of the functionalities such as wi-fi. If I can get good money out of the 6280, I would switch to N80 definitely. Have been waiting for it since early this year.
i got the nokia 6280 2 weeks ago and now this phone is coming out soon i donno wat to dooo should i sell my 6280 and get this??
cheers singapore!!!n80 will b finally in store next sat!!!!!!!!!!!!!on my god..saw the dummy set at orchard,,it was so small n compact..cant wait no more to hold my baby!!!
Man cant wait to try upskirting with my n80. rock on dud poison rules.
Hey Jamie, If you have a wireless setup at home, you can use that to access Internet and that will not cost you anything additional. However, if you login to the hotspots, then there will be charges associated with it just like when you are using a PC accessing it. Hope this help.
