n80 is better cos it has more stuff on it. if u want an ipod phone get the n91. the n80 is £400.
i foned nokia offically in the UK and they said the released this phone yesturday. WHY ISNT IT IN SHOPS?
hi kishan...this phone costs 400GBP and in singapore it i 980SGD...this is confirmed....and final...it will dip drastically (as nokia always does) in a quarter..
every one read the manual plz..its so good...u will come to know why we r relying on NOKIA..hell a lot of features which others have never ever had.....congrats NOKIA u have done it again..
friends NOKIA has really worked hard on t he battery performance.I have the user manual for N80 downloaded from Website.
stand by time--220 hrs.
it is higher that they have mentioned earlier and is acceptible.
i think they will bring it out on 3, they did the same thing with the nok6680h3. it was a generic phone that was locked to the 3 network befor any1 @ 3 even new they where doing this phone! so i hope it will be the same this time with the nokn80h3
Nobody is sure about release date. I do like this phone but I think I should forget it now and think about something else until it be released because waiting for something you like is very difficult.
Been reading this thread with interest, and have also been eagerly awaiting the N80.
As my contract's due to expire, for those on Vodafone UK (after just calling their agents for confirmation) they can upgrade me when it's released with them on 25th April.
Presume this helps for those in the same predicament.
CPW Man - I spoke to 3 today and they told me that the N80 was NEVER being released onto their network.
perhaps the guy i spoke to meant that 3 themselves were not "stocking" the phone (i.e. a "three" branded N80, DIRECT from three).
However, if CPW is offering the phone on 3G, then perhaps the phone itself is 'generic/unbranded' and you will simply be supplying a sim card for use in the phone.
But then im no expert, and all of this can seem a bit overly complex for what it is at times.
But then perhaps i'm being unfair CMV.
I did, after all, miss out the word "Hutchison", which i am aware comes right before the "3G" part.
That said, even Einstein wouldnt be able to work out what network i meant when i said the words "3G". Hmmm.......
And on that note, how incredibly dull. Thankyou for killing braincells CMV, this has been an exhilerating discussion. I look forward to future thrilling debates started by you, where i should imagine the topics will range from "bad typo mistakes" to you not knowing what i meant by writing the word "vodafone" - becuase the "v" wasn't in uppercase.
I cant wait.
Haha Truthteller & N80 lover are obviously the same person! How sad! In actual fact truthteller was one of the very last people to find out when the N80 was released, had he and other people used their heads and phoned such companies as Vodafone themselves there would have been no arguments. Oh dear Truthteller, perhaps you should leave this forum.
i work for cpw and the phone should be on the 3 network as we have code set up to work on 3!
why not visit www.three.co.uk
Once there, look at the bottom left of your screen and see what company name is written there.
Awww, it's fun talking to a big baby...
Congratulations on not knowing what you were talking about. Dont worry - not everyone sitting their SATS is right all the time - you still have a lot of growing up and learning to do.
Perhaps if you posted a comment which has more of a point, myself/people generally might actually start listening to you more...
Your "comment" over this whole "3G" thing is so insanely pointless and boring, that it's almost the equivalent of me saying "hello" to a brick wall....
Though i have just found out it is not/never coming out on three - probably only O2 and Vodafone, maybe Orange and possibly T-Mobile later on.
To the guy who "didnt" know what network i meant when i said "3G", perhaps you should click the link and find out?
And while ur there, perhaps you should research on how not to make pointless comments...
