Soundtech, is this this a prototype or the final release version that you have for sale? Also what colors are available?
you can see more photos taken using N80 here
some of them are here in first look
Guys i dnt thnk it is worth spending a lot of money on the N80 as i have the N70. Theres nt much difference. i thnk itl be hrd 2 chnge the original cover aswell.
We are selling both Nokia N80 and N91 since Monday 17th of April. Prices etc you can check http://www.soundtech.com.cy (£=2US$). N80 comes with BL-5C battery (this is the cheapest Nokia battery!!) but great phone. N91 is a bit bigger but 4GB microdrive. First launch was in Cyprus and Greece to celebrate the Greek Orthodox easter which is this week.
wtf do you do with a phone like this without a decent text imput, even a touch screen would do, for example how do you input a long internet adress, or write a long note on the calendar, its a pain in the a**.
In the asia pacific nokia site, it's stated that the phone is available as new release. So, that means the phone should be available in the market now, right??? And according to their press release the phones have started shipping on april 13th. So when will it arrive here in Malaysia??? Can anyone please tell me... I have fallen in love with this phone. I wanted to change and planning to buy it in bulk, me and some other friends... hopefully we can get at reduced price... :P
Where did you got the info that N80 is
available in Singapore. Call up a few
Nokia Shops still no news.
ive been reading about this since a long time now.... and waiting for it to come out here in US is almost impposible now! I'll be in hong kong on the 10th May, philippines from May10th to May15th and then in hong kong on the 16th! HOPEFULLY I CAN GET IT FROM EITHER HONG KONG OR PHILIPPINES!! Aargh cANT WAIT!!!
It's one's personal preference and age. Both the colors are good. I personally like black as it stands for being dynamic. For people aged between 40-60, I'd recommend white as it indicates peace.
Enjoy your new N80. Don't forget to share some true facts about the phone once u start using it. Only Truth though. Remember, the sword of truthfulness can achieve the unbelievable. Character and integrity is everything in life!
hey guys, which n80 do you think looks better, the stainless silver or pearl black edition? i go for the pearl black, it looks sleek and sophisticated. what do you think?
I'm afraid, I don't know about Australia as I didn't ask Nokia about Australia. Asia and Europe markets have the phones already. They were shipped last week. Within a few days, most priority dealers would have them.
For specific vendors like Vodafone, it may vary from 2-4 months.
Hi i know you all probably get sick of hearing this but does anyone have a rough idea when it will be released in Australia, is it still between the 20th and 28th of April?
n80 definitely had obtain FCC approval:
N80-3 firmware code is RM-91 (as mention in the FCC test report) and in this website:
Nokia US website is always outdated.
As promised, I have an update for u from the horse's mouth.
Nokia shipped N91 and N80 sets (unlocked) on Thursday, April 13th to the dealers and retailers. Depending upon the testing times and software data, each service provider will release when they complete the tests. However, Nokia dealers will sell ulocked versions
Yesterday one N80 was sold by Nokia Shop in Greece. It is confirmed by a friend who works there. The other words about delays are nothing more than b/#lsh!t
am going tow ait till the 28th of april as that seems to be the date EVERYBODY is saying in the UK even vodafone. if its not out ont the 28th i duno wat i will be doing
The main difference is that N80 has Symbian.
The D800 does NOT have:
Wlan, IR, 3G, As good screen resolution as N80, 3mp camera.
Thats why I'd choose N80 over D800.
