Software bugs at fault for delays of Nokia's N91, E61, N80

Nokia is blaming software problems for the delays in their N91, N71, N80, E60, E61, and E71 phones. No word on what exactly is at fault, but Nokia does claim they'll be shipping the N91 -- which was slated for a holiday release last year -- this week. The N71 and N80 are supposed to follow later this month. Nokia claims the business-centric E61, E61, and E71 -- which all missed their March launch target -- are still wrapping up in software testing, and that the E61 will get priority for release. In other news, Nokia managed to to get a class-action lawsuit by a New York judge dismissed last Friday. The 77-page opinion thoroughly trounced the opposition, which had filed suit in April 2004.
to my U.S friends...
i just spoke with a representative from www.myworldphone.com.He said they will have the phone next week
Yeah, have just spotted the phone on O2 myself. Would prefer it in black though, do you think getting a black front cover would be easy enough to come by?
the n80 should already be shipping as they said they were doing some thing to improve the new OS but now this cannot be the case due to the 3250 using the exactly same software which has already been released. NOKIA WHAT ELSE ARE YOU DOING TO THE N80/N91!!! RELEASE THE DAM THING WILL YA!!
Can Someone Explain To Me How The Internet Explorer Works On This Device Using The WIFI, Is It Similar To Something I May See On A P910i Or Something?!?!?

Handset maker Nokia said Monday that six of its new smart phones missed their planned first-quarter shipping deadlines as it works to sort out their software.
Company representatives said the models--three of its multimedia N-series handsets and three E-series phones aimed at business users--would start shipping to customers in the near future.
The company's premium music phone, the N91, will start shipping this week, Nokia Multimedia division spokesman Kari Tuutti said, adding that the N71 and N80 phones will start deliveries in the next two weeks or so.
That "Wireless Imports" N80-for-sale-thing cant be real. If it hasnt been released, how can they have it? They cant.
Yes well they are obviously taking advantage of the fact that they're the only store which has the n80 in stock.
Those prices are not the real ones! ;)
Nokia have released Nokia N80's prices two weeks ago in Greece and it'll be 619€ (incl. VAT 19%).
(In Greece Alpha Copy is the Nokia representative company...)
