n90 is the best but (nead to can chang the fonte or number and name or getud bulder or biger)
N80 is the best phone and nokia is number one. Sony Ericsson? Just trying hard... LOL!
The real advantage of this fone with others its becoz it has WLAN. Maybe the 3mp sensor but not quite coz it lacks autofocus. I juz don't get it, it has an advanced camera modes, white balance and exposure adjustments but forget about autofocus? This is where you separate men from the boys when talking about camfone.
Video stabiliser is cute. CIF resolution is great. But my question is, what's the fps?
I raised these points becoz a good camfone should have large sensor, autofocus, high video resolution and fps. If N80 and W900 were boxers, N80 is the skillfull one while the W900 is the solid puncher. And the solid punchers are usually the ones who knockout opponents. Juz my 2 cents.
Oh no, you are right! I am so sorry. I was browsing through the pages of the phone I was talking about and I have really made a terrible mistake! That is so embarassing! I was talking about the Sony SO902i and I thought it had a 1.3 megapixel camera in front. Think I got it from on website but the others wrote that it only has vga i think. so sorry for stating something like that. I saw the imformation at the link below but on other links, I am not sure if the resolution for the front camera is still 1.3 megapixel camera. But so sorry if I had made a mistake.
But the Nokia N80 does have close up mode! You can see it at their website! The specifications are up on the website under their technical specifications in HTML format at this link below
Once again, I hope I didn't cause any undue stress. I am really apologetic.
Invincible, Yea right!!! N80 has no MACRO mode??? so u know wat the switch below camera is??? Where is the source shows N80 has no digital zoom for video??? STATE SOMETHING WITH PROOF, please..
Benson... if u could give me a list of phones which has frontal camera 1.3mp, otherwise, be quiet
N90 is the best phone
N90 - 2 megapixel
N80 - 3 megapixel
N90 - Autofocus
N80 - No Autofocus
N90 - Macro Mode
N80 - No Macro Mode
N90 - Carl Zeiss Optics

N90 - Video and Picture Editor
N80 - Picture Editor Only

N80 - 20 x digital zoom (picture) No digital zoom for video
N90 is still the best phone in the N Series and the phone of the year 2005 and 2006
Also, the front camera is VGA. It's a pity coz on one of the other phones that has a 3.2 megapixel camera, the front camera is a 1.3 megapixel camera. But I read that even so, 3G networks run better on VGA cameras and that 3.5G networks can then better handle higher resolution cameras? I do think battery life is important for an user who listens to music, say, possibly 7 to 8 hours a day, and if calls come in for 1 to 2 hours, the battery life may end quick since the standby time will be much shorten. It would be nice if Nokia could address some of the problems we believe could be but usually Nokia doesn't change their specifications once they are announced right? However, I would say Nokia N80 is really in a league of its own for this time frame that is is announced, until better competitors come out. Though I do like the W900i too.
Hi, I read that N80's video has image stablisation capability. But think it doesn't work for the camera, only the video, so it's a pity, unless otherwise. Also, the phone has wifi, so I heard you can connect to wireless stations for free?
this fone is quite good... but is perfect enough... for symbian os series 60...
this fone can b the top in nokia... juz no memory card include...
nokia should b more creative...
this fone battery only last for 3 hours of talk only.. imagine if within one day u use for 2 hours (for me i need it at least 2 hours) for Mp3 player, 5-10 minutes to play around with the fone for camera and everything, 5-10 minutes to send sms and to talk.. by the end of the day if you still outside from home.. you will realise how u really worried that you will running out of battery. i think battery life is very crucial for such a fone with high technology.
I think nokia doesn't really understand how important this thing is.
3MP wow! but well, sorry, I hate slide phones... not good enough! Sorry Nokia.. you can't have my money... but rest assured, I will be looking forward of your future designs which are more pleasing...
im not buying this fone...i've had enough of this slide fone. I own 7650 at first. Now I swear, IM NOT BUYING SLIDE FONES.
Disadvantages of the phone: poor battery life and no autofocus
seriously i dont see why do we need such a long battery life for? arent we gonna charge our phones everyday? lack of autofocus does not mean the picture taken wont be good. stop speculating...
the phone is really perfect. the design is a woah. features are the best and the size is flawless. you cant expect it to be razor thin, cos i dont think the thickness can sustain any pressure and will break easily
i m using n7610 too and going to buy this sexy phone. NOKIA THANKS FOR THE WONDERFUL CREATION.
yea i think this phone is realy worth its price. thumbs up for it!
rumours report that this phone will be lounched in 5months from now in an estimated price of 600-800 euros,
thats plenty of time for the competition to come up with a serius competitor,
though this time is gonna be extremely dif as N80 is the best phone anounced, being great any every field...
