I find my n81 runs slow when i open a few apps anyone know how i can multitask without slowdown?
Shams
It's a pleasure :-)
You've made a great decision, there are 16GB memory cards coming soon and the N81 regular version supports them.
Thanks alot Tsepz,
The info that youv given me has helped me to come to a conclusion and i will be buying the N81 2gb very soon.
Thanks again and may allah bless you....
i bought a nokia phone before and i was so frustrated with it cause the hang the daylights out of me... i like the design of this phone and i just want to know if this phone will hang if we've add in songs..??
Shams
It records videos in QVGA @ 15FPS mp4 format, NOKIA site i think has the Prototype N81 specs. The build quality of both Regular and 8GB is great :-) the phone is very solid and the slider is smooth.
I have the Regular one that comes with a 2GB MicroSD and i have had absolutely no problems with memory,it comes with 24mb internal memory and ive only installed a few apps in the internal memory all the others are in the memory card and work brilliantly! :-) you just have to decide which one to take, the Regular or 8GB,GOOD LUCK! :)
hi guys, i strongly recommend buyin this fond it s da best ever,,im writing this comment using my n81 2gb nearly perfect except 4 da cam good flash but not the best resolution but who cares, very good looking makes u look like president nr somethin feel free 2 ask chaw (mohamed 4om egypt)
im trying to get the security on my phone working but it says code error when i try type a new code
from using my n81 i think vietsione has a few drives the 8gb one and various other ones for different parts of the phone i think , i remember one of my other nokia's having this as well.... There is definatly one with 20mb or more in their as well. Guys i'm a bit confused like you as well. Nokia site says vga 15fps, but i'm not getting into that as i have not explored the phone properly. Its is cool though.
Got this phone like a week ago, it's amazing this phone does whatever i tell it to do and I used to have network problems but since i change it from daulmode to GSM it started working perfectly. Best phone i ever picked
Hey i just bought this phone recently and i think its the next best thing after n95 8gb the only drawback is its camera but considering its price group it is pretty reasonable
I've just bought this phone. The build quality is quite good, and the phone works realy well. I was dissapointed by the navi wheel, which is difficult to use
Hey Guyz,
Does the N81 record video at VGA 15/fps or at QVGA 15/fps, cause some sites like www.mobile-review.com and www.phonearena.com says it maxs out at QVGA 15/fps.
Is the build quality of the N81 8GB better than the regular N81?
Does the low internal memory of the regular N81 pose a problem when it comes to installing new apps and error messages.
Is the plastic front cover really prone to a lot of scratches.
I was looking at Nokia N81 features and i was really impressed. Can somebody tell how much the phones is? I'd like to own one.
the phone is great, cool music output but a very very sad camera more like a vga and not a 2mp,,
.... i've read almost all of the opinions you have posted for this N81 phone and i'm kinda persuaded to buy one for myself. can we change the faceplates of this phone? and if we use a 4g memory card for this, will it be slower? please share your opinions cause i really am decided to get one for myself....
Hy guyx,
I want to buy the Nokia n81 but can any of you please help me clarify a few issues:
a)At gsmarena and nokia.com it is mentioned that the phone records video at VGA/15 fps but at phonearena.com and mobile-review.com they mention the video recording max out at QVGA/15 fps. I am into recording videos more than takin pics so if any one has a sample video recorded at max quality it would really solve my confusion.
b)The internal memory on the regular model is very low at around 12 mb or somethin, does this pose a problem in installing new programs, or could i install programs on the expandable memory and everythin will work fine.
c)I like watching mp4 video songs on my phone, does the phone really support H264 format or divx formats.
I would really appreciate anyone answering my questions and would really like to return the favour.
